Great story! I live in Dahlonega, GA., which is about 70 miles north of Atlanta. It is where the first major gold rush in the USA was, which is our claim to fame. Our shame to fame is that is where the Trail of Tears started. We couldn’t let the Cherokee have the gold, so shipped them off to Oklahoma and cheated them out of the oil. Gold was discovered in California, so everyone left for there. We even used to have a United States Mint. Maybe Thiago and Fab can visit sometime.
