HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

In my experience, the guys I thought were so hot turned out to be complete d-bags personality-wise, which made them less attractive to me physically. Guys I didn't find as attractive physically became more attractive because of their stunning personalities, senses of humor and other traits that I found appealing. I think extremely good looking people may feel like they don't have to be 'nice' because they can get anything with their looks and are used to that. People who aren't as good looking maybe have to try a little harder and end up being better people because of it. I'm not saying a hot person can't be nice or a less hot person can't be a jerk. I'm just going by my experiences and how I view things through them. Attitude is everything and there's a fine line between confidence and conceit. Looks matter but personality is more important.

Sometimes variety is the spice of life and if both people in the relationship are cool with it then there's nothing wrong with it. I don't consider it cheating.

Every one of those pictures is just breathtaking! I love looking at the stars (hence my name lol) and the idea of what all is out there is so exciting. And thanks for that link. I'm going to be checking that out daily.

Marley and Me gets me every time so I've begun to change the channel near the ending.

I don't normally have to force emotions. Usually, as I'm writing, I get into the scene and the emotions just flow. I like to write angsty anyway so it's not hard for me to get into that frame of mind. I can also go back to my regular mood once I'm done. Music is also a great way to slip into the 'right' mood. I know some people who make play lists for certain characters or stories. I just have certain 'mood' music when I'm writing certain ones. Okay, that was a kind of ramble but I hope it made sense.

I don't know you but good luck to you. From what I've read it sounds like you're making a huge decision. Please make it a life changing one and not a life ending one.

This entire thread just cracked me up! You all are a trip! And as for 18 year old guys versus the older crowd ... they all have their pros and cons but I'm beginning to think it's the ones in the middle that have more to prove. When you're 18, you don't care because you're invincible and when you're 60 you don't care because you already been there, done it, bought the t-shirt and don't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks!

Justin is adorable. Michael was sooooooo cute in Lords of Dogtown. Just had to point those things out. Back on topic, I find hunting for fics the most fun. You never know what you may stumble across so I agree with checking out the hosted authors and skimming through. Totally worth it, in my opinion. Happy reading!
