Billy is sure a great kid, wish I'd had someone to train me when I ran in school like Adam did. In those days we ran cross country all over the fields of Lincolnshire... At the three mile mark was a place called Muddy Lane and that was usually where the cramps set in and you got stuck in the mud. The coach was a sadist as he had us run that route knowing with the British weather we'd be running through a steep hill six inches deep in mud because of all of the rain. SUCH FUN!!! not... running and PE classes were a chore in those days, I only found running when I was in my twenties. Adam is lucky to have had a friend like Bill as he was growing.

Is it Timmy or is it Bret? sorry got a little confused there... Timmy is only mentioned once and then it become Bret, I guess that what come of having a popular second name, like mine (DORK). Sorry loving Adam and the way he steps right in to help and look after Bret... Still think he could marry a brit, I know just the one he needs🤓

Priest Holes came about because when Henry the Eighth created the 'Church of England', then Mary took it to catholic and Elizabeth swung the other way again... By that time it was high treason for a catholic priest to even enter England but the Jesuits came to support the families and in return they gave the priest shelter and a place to hide. They created these spaces in their houses and palaces (often in the fireplace) to hide the priest (about 1540 -50).

I think you know me too much... My favourite subject was algebra, though over here its part of the overall maths subject and doesn't get enough exposure during the class time. Our final exam was all algebra and geometry and most of us failed it because of the failure of the learning structure... wish I had know Adam then as I went to sixth form to finally get the gist of it and on track to the career that I wanted. Next favourite subject was history, but we never studied American history but my favourite period was the Tutors. By that time my mam had died, but I would have loved going round all of the palaces and homes soaking up the history of the places... She would have laughed as I almost got stuck when they let me try to get into a priest hole that was hidden in one of the walls. It's hard to believe that they had to hide in those places to escape being executed for their beliefs, those places were sooooo small. Still in love with Adam

Love Adam and Billy, never studied American History being a Brit, but loved the history of the American Indian. Having belonged to "THAT" church the American people fascinated me as the people listed in the Book of Mormon are the ancestors of the American Indian. Before that I loved the whole legend of the Aztecs, Inca and the Myans; would have loved to have travelled and gone to Machu Picchu but hey, I've never been out of Britain. Loving how Adam is waking the desire for more in young Billy... If Adam starts looking let him find a lonely Brit to love

Absolutely loved this story ...

Liking that the town is rallying round to support him... Glad there is an older boy that can drive, maybe there can be more trips. Great story.

Back with Adam, my morning story fix before a day in work... Things seem to be getting back to normal but now over here there seems to be another attack on the horizon, so goodness knows how long till another lockdown. (Wonder what advice Adam would give me?) Adam and the way he has with people has me and I want more, so glad that he has his PhD but wondering now how he is going to apply it and what he will end up doing.
-
Well I nearly made it but had to have just one more chapter... It says that I never commented so I am taking it that I have never read this one before... Loving Jeff, but don't tell Adam as I do not want them fighting for me

Decided that there must to a few that I missed before I started reading your stories... so here goes. always fancied winning the lottery. When I met my partner I used to walk home after our date every Saturday afternoon and buy a lottery ticket on the way. This one week I had to get the shopping and forgot to get my ticket, my numbers were left written on the paper in my pocket unused! My number came up and I celebrated untill I looked for the ticket and the realization came over me that I had forgotten to get it😭😭I would have had 5 balls and the bonus... £200,000.... Never bought a ticket ever since. Good start but now it's bedtime.

Loving Adam... Everyone seems to run these days, when I was young I was introduced to it by the missionaries of my church when I served with them. At first I hated getting up, by the time I headed home I was running five miles a day. Continued it until just before getting married as well. Now I'm so out of shape no one will believe that I used to run. Hell two years ago I would hardly walk to the end of the road, my son made me go to the doctors; that was when they told me I had pernicious anaemia... started on B12 and now I've lost the weight and can walk again. Would love to run, but I don't think I will ever feel that thrill again. Loving Adam he is just so caring ....

Personally I'm O+, AB is rather rare... Oh that the title Adam gave him... Some teachers don't deserve to be in the positions that they hold. This is the way you do it and nothing else is correct. I moved north when I was very young and in Algebra England had taught a different way to do these equations than my new town. The first test I took they marked to a big fat zero because I hadn't done it their way. My dad might have had a few problems but he went out to bat for me that time and the teacher had to retract their method when a university lecturer met the board with dad... from that point on the math teacher used to lock me in the book cupboard to study by myself as England was further ahead and she wasn't willing to help me. God only knows how I became a accountant! Loving the story and still in love with Adam!

I always thought that I'd end up with my own company like his dad. Had my own clients and kept a job down at the same time but the more I worked the more the ex wanted... Ended up cutting the clients and guess what? The divorce was quick to follow... So envious of his dad have his own company. I love teaching or talking and training in work situation, but I don't think that I could ever have become a teach. Absolutely love Adam.

I love meatballs, small portion please. Adam seems to be building his own school... I love how he is good with the boys and connects on their level. Absolutely loving the story... Ohh, don't bother with the cake for me (I'm cutting down... Lockdown belly is a real condition!)

See, I always knew it was dad's problem... Parents are either good and caring or totally the opposite with kids. Jerry just needs the teacher to explain things, the fact that his math teacher hasn't picked up the problem is worrying. Loving the story.

Adam seems to the the type of teacher that I needed in maths, think I might have qualified as an accountant if Adam had been my tutor. Jerry needs to forget his macho s**t and knuckle down to being tutored. I understand if his sport takes off he could make some serious money and will needs this math to be able to count all that lovely lolly 🤑 who knows, maybe Adam will be with him on that journey. Loving the story and Adam seems to be pulling my heart strings already (damn this lockdown, we're all desperate for human contact... From Monday I could give him a hug).

Sounds interesting... Always thought I'd be a good teacher, loved teaching Sunday School in church. Never doing the obvious and trying to think up new ways of saying the old lessons so that it made people stop and think. I remember once I used the words to a hymn that we all loved but the music in the back ground was the theme of superman, it actually worked as well because it made them listen to the words for the first time.... Looking forward to getting to know Adam.

Great story!!! Guess I'll never get that bracelet... but loved the journey

Chaz seems to be happy, but it would be nice to see him with a soulmate in his life. Bobby seems to fit the bill, but he needs to find his own life now that he has graduated. Still loving Carlito... and that bracelet must be on back order as I am still waiting for it!
-
Running really late ... sorry still catching up ... Could do with some of those security devices over here. Still have that gold bracelet on back order though remember. Absolutely loving the story, but hate the Uncle... Is it me or is it coincidence that the thugs are on to Chaz just when dearest Uncle goes into hiding?
-
The general will never guess... He has others to do his thinking for him. How many know the system though? The people at the palace, will they know? Because if they do then they will be able to get around the alarm. Loving the idea though. but I wanted a dose of my Bobby.
-
I think that Bobby is smart, but he has a bond with Noah now and relies on him as a mentor where his education is concerned. I think it would be a good move, but if they both go it would break little Carlito's heart
