  1. Lights, too many lights. Someone was screaming, perhaps shouting for help. I felt a weight on me. My hands felt sticky. There was pain too, excruciating. My back was on fire and I couldn’t feel my right arm. “NO!” Someone shouted. I couldn’t place the voice or person. It was difficult to focus on anything. My head was dizzy. I wanted to feel the safety of my dad’s arms and I needed my mom’s loving touch. I felt like a little kid. A little hurt kid who had lost something huge. “Mom…” I croak

    Normal?

Thank you so much for reading! I'm sorry for the late reply to your review. I am glad you find the premise interesting. It might get better once Zach starts understanding what's going on. I'm sure most of you have already figured it out. But it might still be fun to find out how things go !
  3. The house was quiet. I checked my digital clock. It was glaring at me with 7 AM written boldly across it. I winced. It was time to get up. I had kept tossing and turning the entire night and got barely any sleep, save for a couple of hours in the morning. Usually if I am running late, which happens next to never, I seem almost possessed the way I do everything to get ready for school in time. I absolutely hate being late to school and I’m bitchy if things or people stall me. Maybe I’m an obsess
  4. I dropped Jeremy off and drove straight home. I needed to distract myself with something, anything. What better to do than get the school work done? I checked through my notes and realized I had a pile of assignments to get done before the school week ended. I quickly changed into more comfortable clothing and sat at the study table starting first with math. It was kind of difficult at first but once I got into it, the rest of the problems went smoothly. I kept myself totally occupied, trying t

    Normal?

The sound of my crying had merged with the sound of the rain that fell consistently through the night. When I woke up, I felt surprisingly fresher than when I had gone to bed. I wanted to surprise Jeremy by picking him up for school. I drove my car to the Wilson place earlier than necessary. The excitement of seeing Jer after the realization of my true feelings was hard to contain. There was a grinding sound from the tires as the car came to a halt. I still couldn’t make myself press the brake
  6. I'm glad you noticed Mark. He's got a lot of role in this story. Thanks for reading the story, TheBiggestFan. I'll try to post the chapters soon.
  7. Thanks HutPanda! The secret will be revealed through every new chapter posted. I hope you stick along and find out. I like Jeremy a lot too btw!

    The Notice

OMG! I guess I totally forgot about this story. I was on a long vacation and I came back to find a lot of work pending and so, no up-dates. I'm glad you liked the chapter, Lisa. There is a lot going on in this plot. I'm afraid, I'm putting it on-hold. But I'll get back to this one after I finish I'm currently writing. Thank you so much for reading. And yeah, Grease was so cool as a high school play!

    The Birthday

Thanks, lil! I'm glad you liked the story. I agree with you, Zach and Jeremy were cute when they were younger. Well, you'll have to stick to the story to find out about the mystery! Thanks again, for the review!
  10. “Son, I want you to have a vehicle that’s heavier than that.” Dad had the weird idea that heavier cars were safer. Maybe it was true, but what’s gonna happen , happens anyway. He pointed at the sedan I was staring emptily at. Dad was very animated when he looked around at all the second-hand cars Nelly was currently showing us. I’m sure I got my passion for cars from him. Only, my mind wasn’t in it today. Not at all. Funny, considering, that for an entire year, there wasn’t a thing I thought a
  11. Trust me it’s no fun to wait around for a specific day when you want it to arrive so bad you can taste it. You know you’re helpless about it and you can’t get help from any heavenly powers to make the clock tick faster. All you can do, is wait! But here it was and I wasn’t wasting a single minute of it. I’d wanted a set of wheels right since…well, I’d seen a car. And guess what? I was getting one today! Yipee! The blinds pulled up, I let the fresh morning air and sunshine consume me. It was nic
  12. Zach is strong, popular and perfect. He's got a loving family and everyone wants to be friends with him. All he wants is Jeremy. He doesn't know what Jeremy wants. There's also a secret everybody is keeping from him. Then there's Mark, Jeremy's older brother. What does he know? Why does he keep staring at him? Will Zach find out the truths eventually or will he be... lost?

    The Notice

Although I was eager to learn what was laid out on our plate for drama this year, I had lost my appetite and excitement for that as well. I just wanted to go home and take some rest and keep my mind off of what took place during the school day. It wasn’t unusual for me to feel like running home and hiding into the confines of my room. I wasn’t a particularly shy kid. I was more like…different. It took some efforts on my part to blend in, something that came so naturally to everyone else. Bes
  14. Thanks for the review Dannsar..I appreciate your review but I'm not sure I can do what you want..I guess the story is already planned out...as for how smartly I put the plot across, you'll have to find out I'm not sure about the 'esoteric' words though...I read my chapter again and didn't find one word which was more 'colorful' than it needed to be..quite the opposite in fact.. but I'll keep the flow in mind.. thanks again!
  15. I love the character Travis although his presence was coldly stated. What he meant to Charlie and why he was in the chapter are matters seeming a bit ambiguous. More so because Charlie said something like he's 'my'.... Derek? well...he's just a naive boy lost in the jerk-world. His conversation with Travis was a bit appalling because he was always shown to be self-centered but never a jerk. I like his character. He thinks everything that's supposed to be cool is cool. He's not a stupid jock (maybe just a tiny bit) but kind of like the all-smart guy which is so not cool. But he doesn't know that. Charlie's character kind of disappoints me (**sheepish**). He is idk, a tad bit goody-goody requiring more depth. I like the story a lot. A lot!!! It's the only one I wait for. (hehe) Scrawny!
