The Funny Thing Is… You Always Get What You Deserve
We’ve all heard of Karma. You get what you pay for. You reap what you sow. We’ve all had those moments of overwhelming clarity where it seems like we have more than we deserve. The smiles around us, the hugs and kisses, the happiness that we’ve somehow amassed is far greater than any good deed we’ve ever done. And then there’s that moment when you do get what you deserve. And in that moment, you get exactly what you bargained for.
Hey Lisa! So many comments and questions. I love it so All Cooped Up was out when he was hired. But like you said, the list is on a completely different level. expect some fireworks there. I'm glad you're feeling Chase these days. I think if you like him now, you'll only like him more moving on. Not to say coop's feelings for Kyle are in the clear... Finally, I'm finishing up bhb, but I haven't had as much time for it this fall. Cooper and co are my obvious priority
Thanks a bundle for the review. I'm glad you're enjoying the story, especially the friendships, because I really think that's the heart of the tale. Anyway, expect big things from the dinner... I won't say which way things go, but I'm hoping they're surprising at least. More to come
You'll have to wait and see how the dinner party turns out. As for Chase, I'm glad folks are getting back on his side. We'll see if it lasts, but for now, I'll say you're right about his sincerity. Glad you... um... enjoyed the love scene
Hey Wexine! Thanks for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter The divorce is about to take a messy turn, but I will say, I don't see Chase going anywhere any time soon (that doesn't mean he won't eventually, but he's there for now in a big way). Thanks again.
Glad you liked the chapter. This chapter was to set up the inevitable fallout from the Chicago decision, which I'm hoping will be less expected. Thanks for the review!
The Funny Thing Is… I Had Just What I Needed Just When I Needed It
We all go through situations. There is no one reading this who hasn’t been through something. Some situations are small and trivial, and only seem important at the moment. Others are huge, and weigh on us in a way that seems almost too much to bear. And as I was going through my series of situations, I realized that I wasn’t alone. I had everything I needed an arm’s length away.
“I don’t understand exactly what yo
Thanks for the review and the compliments. I really dig them! The custody stuff unfolds slowly, but I'm hoping in a very resonant way. Of course, you're rit about the law allowing older kids to choose, but it isn't that easy. As far as Kyle still being coop's lawyer, I have to confess: I don't want cool to get alternate council because I feel like the cast of characters is bloated enoug color me lazy, but it's quite that simple. More to come soon:)
Thanks fo the review. I'll tak a sex an the city comparison any day I won't tease anything, but let's just say that you're right. Coop has enough going on to warrant smooth sailing relationship wise. More to come soon:)
You're welcome, George. Glad you enjoyed it. I totally agree with you what you said about chase. As fr that jury, I hope it comes back soon. Thanks for the review.
Hey. Thanks for the review! You might be right about Kyle representing Cooper, and that topic is breached here pretty soon. Devon does indeed plan on taking the kids with her... Another hiccup for Coop. Again, thanks for the review
Hey! I'm glad it was worth the wait. You might be right about the kids, but expect Devon to present a compelling case. She knows she'll have to convince them to move. Mor soon....
Sorry to string you along with on, Conner. Glad you enjoyed the chapter though. I think you're right about th parters of friends. Coop called it out in a previous chapter, about Britney and Winston. You just have to hope your friend is happy, I guess. Also, I promise it won't be 21 actual days before actual sex.
Thanks for the review! I couldn't help but stage a Carrie-esque brunch. Especially with everyone at odds. Couldn't help it. You're right to expect more confrontation between chase and the guys. His next step is to winner over the boys...
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. You're right about the trust being hard to win back. I mean, even at the end of your review you noted that something could still go wrong... It's a tough journey for those two Thanks for the review!
The Funny Thing Is… Just When I Thought Things Could Reach a New Normal…
As humans, we’re constantly bombarded with changes. Sometimes the changes are big, and sometimes they’re acute changes that have little to no effect on our every day lives. Regardless of the magnitude of change, there comes a time when things level out and return to normal. And just as I reached that new normal, readers, another change came and smacked me across the face.
Brunch with the boys was usually some
