Caroline has used somewhat unethical methods in her political battles in the past (lording over Cavendish after her "tryst" with him & Major Treadway), and she holds a great secret about George and a number of his … paramours. One wonders if she will stoop to using that weapon in the war with George. She may not be aware of the Brotherhood, of which George is a member (along with one of the princes!), their common commitment, effectively, to disposing of people who threaten them with exposure, and thus the danger to herself if she should make such a threat. If George forces her into a corner too suddenly, she might attempt it rather than surrender, unaware of the potentially dire consequences.

The danger in any verbal promises from King George III is that madness overtakes him at an inopportune moment for Granger - if Granger can extract written edicts for more reliability, so much the better.

Not quite - strictly, anime comes from Japan, but the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender (there's your link to its Wikipedia page) is an American production from Nickelodeon Animation Studio. However, it's definitely in an anime-style.

The live-action movie written & directed by Shyamalan called The Last Airbender is bloody f'ing awful - see the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender on which it is based instead - it is wonderful storytelling, good characters & character-arcs, and stunning animation. One of the great things about animation is that you can do anything you want - rather similar to words in that respect. Live action, even with tons of CGI, still has limits. Also, the writing makes a huge difference - Shyamalan butchered Avatar.

"Wind bender" - an Avatar: The Last Airbender reference? [for those who have not seen it, recommended!] Ethan was an Elemental before he became a Lycan: manifested powers & all that. He was also true mate to Aiden. Ergo, Lycan or not, the brunette Elemental might well have had a mate who is now on the hunt (even if not a Lycan) for Brandon and/or Darius.
