  1. >> mostly now i am just giggling at the idea of a guy who owns a John Deere tractor trying to fit into Ashlee's wardrobe... *rolls eyes* I'm a victim of stereotyping! Well, ain't that the story of my life! So maybe I wouldn't fit into Ash's clothes, however, although 6 feet tall, I weigh the same as I did in high school, which is 148 lbs, with a 29 inch waist, so I can (and do) occasionally indulge my Ashlee-dreams. And I assure you that Ashlee could easily pilot a big JD tractor. They have plush, suspended seats, air conditioning, decent stereo sound systems... Ash would love it! :-)

    Chapter 6

Clem and Ash together is causing me great internal conflict. Y'see, I could be Clem - I do, in fact, own a big John Deere tractor - and I did once waste too many months with a Nate-clone jerk. Yet I am so jealous of Ashlee's self-confidence and easily assuming that everyone will love and accept him as he is. I am closer to Clem, but I really, really would want to *be* Ashlee! Anyway, these two are perfect together! I hope nothing happens to screw that up. Ya hear that, Nate?!!

    Chapter 5

Clem is falling hard! And who could blame him? Ashlee is wonderful, and so self-confident, too. And Clem didn't turn and run when he realized that Ashlee is wearing a skirt, either. These two are perfect together. Here's hoping Nate doesn't turn up making an ass of himself and hurting others in the process.

    Chapter 4

Yay for Clem telling Nate to go piss up a rope! Even more yay for Clem not regretting that, as he drove off in the tractor. And Ashlee, at first glance, appears to be the complete opposite of Nate, so will this be what Clem wants, or is the pendulum swinging too far the other way? Can't wait to find out! On to chapter 5!

    Chapter 3

I had my own copy of Nate, now gone and living on the other side of the continent. I was fortunate in having friends who intervened and convinced me that my hopes of him changing were naive and unrealistic. So I hope Clem finds some support as well. I'm loving this story, as I have everything you've written! On to chapter 4!

    Chapter 1

The Nathans of this world need to realize that others have feelings, too! Poor Clem, just gets tossed aside... as soon as he finds someone else, Nathan's gonna be all by himself. And serve him right!
  7. I know, I KNOW that I should leave comments after reading each chapter, but kinda just want to get on with the next chapter, y'know? *slaps self* I loved this story. And I loved how Robin just takes control over Kieran and got his life on track. As it were... Ah, if only real life could work out as neatly as that. Okay, time to see what else you've written here... your style and characters are totally delightful. Thanks for writing!
  8. What an amazing adventure! What a great story! It is wonderful how you have managed to maintain the pace and energy throughout all 158 chapters. And I cannot imagine how many hours you must have spent in researching so many details, scientific, geographic, nautical and all the other aspects that make this such a compelling piece of writing. I have been a sailor all of my life, owning and chartering mostly monohulls but an occasional multihull, and at no time while reading "Circumnavigation" did I encounter a wrong note or false premise. Amazing! Thank you so very much for writing this story! I thoroughly enjoyed it and am kicking myself for putting off reading it for so long, but I'm glad I did wait for a time when I was able to enjoy it properly. Thanks again!

    Chapter 16.

Several situations in this story echoed aspects of my own life. I am really glad it all worked out well for Paul, Jeremy and Jarrod. Nice ending! Thanks Iarwain, for writing and sharing these stories; more to come, I hope!
