    Chapter 4

Part 4 “Cobey,” Mitch’s concerned voice startled me out of my thoughts. “Yeah, I’m okay. I was just thinking back and remembering of what used to be.” “If it’s not too private, what were you thinking about?” “My dad!” “You want to talk about it?” I looked at Mitch. With my voice catching in my throat and not knowing why at the time, I said, “Yeah, I’d like to talk about him.” I composed myself then started my narrative. “I love my mum and, at present, she’s the single mos

    Chapter 3

Part 3 Mr Jackson stared at me for a few moments, then he looked across at Mitch, before he asked, “Was Winters instrumental in changing your mind?” “Yes, Sir.” “At least he made amends for his infantile behaviour of yesterday.” Jackson said, giving Mitch a withering look, “I’ll see you boys later.” As he made to leave he stopped, “Have you still got your senior class schedule, Hodson?” I nodded. Chapter 1

The usual disclaimers apply to this story Cobey Hodson Part 1 One month after my fourteenth birthday, and a week before the start of the school summer recess, the deception that I had portrayed since entering High School came to light. Our normal classroom for Biology was undergoing renovation. It had been flooded by the activation of the sprinkler

  6. Solution to Ball on a String The easiest way to change the colour of the ball is to drag the ball to the one side of the frame, depending on if your left or right handed. Leave it there so that only half the ball is visible, then drag your cursor off the frame and down level with the ball. Place the cursor right at the edge of the frame and when your ready move it quickly to the ball clicking at the same time. Easy Peasy.

  9. If you want a song whose words are sheer poetry then Stardust is one of the front runners. Stardust And now the purple dusk of twilight time Steals across the meadows of my heart High up in the sky the little stars climb Always reminding me that we're apart You wander down the lane and far away Leaving me a song that will not die Love is now the stardust of yesterday The music of the years gone by Sometimes I wonder why I spend The lonely night dreaming of a song The melody haunts my reverie And I am once again with you When our love was new And each kiss an inspiration But that was long ago Now my consolation Is in the stardust of a song Beside a garden wall When stars are bright You are in my arms The nightingale tells his fairy tale of paradise where roses grew Though I dream in vain In my heart it will remain My stardust melody The memory of love's refrain
