    Got it. Another lesson learned for me on that one, don't assume people will think these guys are that crazy.

    Okay, fair 'nough. I guess in my mind, the (unstated) idea of safeguards in place so if they screw up there'd be guardrails to fix it was enough to make it seem real and the idea of a simulation was less likely. Lesson learned, certainly don't assume other guys know what's going on in my mind.

    So, gotta ask: How did you guess? I did not think I made it obvious other than perhaps the absurdity of putting n00bs into this situation. I did intentionally hint with gAI noting something was strange, but I didn't think it was that obvious of a hint.

    On your first statement, in an earlier draft of the chapter I had Shawn musing out loud about failsafes. I deleted it in the revision before posting because it didn't really have a good spot anymore. You can assume – as Our Hero did in my first version – that they would put some failsafes in there. On your second statement, that's coming ... . The ground work has been laid with certain education topics that were discussed, but it's something one likely won't realize was a hint until it actually comes out.

    Fair enough. I hadn't thought everything through when I wrote chapters 1–8 and I'm sure there will be some slight inconsistencies. Hopefully it's generally still enjoyable.

    The idea is that if you're a top and having sex with a bottom, it's just so ingrained in their minds that bottoms get no pleasure from their dicks that they just completely ignore it.
