Gratuitous back-end: When developing these main three, and then the remaining that a few people have, I went to Advanced Dungeons and Dragons to look at what was on character sheets for stats. I tried to pick ones that I thought I could reasonably tie to biology that could also kinda be exaggerated into superpowers. I then went to the X-Men comics and at the various powers and tried to divide them into just a few extremely broad categories, and then decide which were the three categories that were similar to AD&D that had the least "Wow!" kinds of powers. Strength is pretty darn obvious, and then Endurance was originally meant to be able to do things quickly and is where I stuck healing (hasn't really come up ... yet). Then I eff'd it up in my own back-end narrative where I copy-pasted Endurance into Agility. And I relied on that for a few chapters before I realized the issue. So, I'm leaning much more into the idea that Agility here is a bit of a pared down but best-of-both-worlds for Strength and Endurance, with a bit of extras along the way. The speed part here was a specific nod (in my head) to Spider-Man and – giving just the slightest bit away from the back-end stuff – higher levels of Agility could manifest as a full-blown "Spider Sense." E.g., sensing the slightest air current caused by an object coming up from behind you and giving you time to move out of the way. With a "Level-4" of that ability, Shawn is getting a "baby" version of those slow-mo abilities made incredibly famous by The Matrix and copied endlessly in other movies.

This isn't going to span thousands of years, just thousands of chapters ... okay, maybe not quite thousands, but a lot. And again, thank you. I have another 20+ pages of back-story on how everything works and the primary motivation that drives the higher-up characters that we've just gotten glimpses of.

I can answer part of your questions because it's not a future plot point: The vision I have for this is that you could probably predict from birth, but it's not important; guys are born the same, then puberty hits and either they develop internally to be a bottom, or they develop more externally more to be a top. The internal orgasm is less of a pregnancy thing and more of a just getting off; it's the top's orgasm and implantation of semen that then finds its way to a possible plot point I haven't yet developed to do the pregnancy. Which is a bit like the Bene Desserts in that they can decide if they are going to get pregnant or not. The rest of the questions I am not going to answer at this time.

Ah, so, I haven't seen the deleted scenes. And by referencing Lone Star, I can tell you like the sci-fi genre. Wiping out women needed to be kinda plausible but also is more of a background plot point to get to how it's remotely plausible there are no women here. Tech is definitely discussed heavily in the first ~10–15 chapters, primarily because this is the "alien observer" pointing things out to us (the audience) that needs setting apart from the reality we're used to.
