I know it's the smart thing to do, but is it the right thing to do? You're taking someone's money in a deceitful way. We're not talking about chump change here, like me spotting you a movie ticket or something. We're talking about multiple tens of thousands of dollars.

Hypothetical situation: Billy is 17 and gay. He's a senior in high school, and he has a part-time job, but like most teenagers he has zero fiscal responsibility. He's lucky if he has any money left by the time his next paycheque comes around, which is fine. He lives at home and money's never really been an issue for him or his family. Both his parents work good, solid jobs. Billy's parents have already told him that he's going to university, and with his grades he will be accepted. He probably won't be able to get any scholarships, but with the good money his parents pull in and him living at home, it's perfect manageable, financially. The only problem is that Billy is far in the closet and if his parents found out he was gay, they'd never forgive him. He'd be thrown out on his ass as soon as he turned 18 and he would receive no help from his parents anymore - they'd disown him. Billy knows this, because he hears his mother and father rant their homophobic hate, so he's keeping it to himself, at least until his education is complete. --- Now, my question. Is it morally acceptable for Billy to wait? Whether we agree or disagree with his parents beliefs, they have every right to have them. It will be their money that puts Billy through school and gives him a good education so he can get a good job and have a decent quality of living. Is he morally correct to withhold his sexuality to accept their money?

Night 2 - Police Brutality The snow fell in the Night sky and made everyone react a little slower. Some stayed snug in bed, trying to combat the cold that was outside. Others ventured outside, intentions unknown. One such adventurer needlessly kept watch over another's house. Another looked for footprints that would never show up. Lastly, the hooded figure snuck up behind the cop (Cemel_Dosce) and brutally slit their throat. With a chuckle they slipped back into their home, undetected. Day 2 - Arguments The town was more active, trying to figure out who among them was evil. Unfortunately, even with all the discussion, they didn't seem to accomplish much. I'm not going to say who, since it doesn't really matter. I know you're all learning, and that's the entire point of this game; a simple setup so everyone can get a feel for the game, the dynamics and how things work. I'm going to let it slide this time, but if I catch wind of anyone approaching anyone else outside of the game, I will be forced to modkill you, which is immediate removal from the game for the duration of the game. The whole point of the game is information. I won't elaborate on that, because I think everyone should figure it out for themselves. Each role message I sent explicitly said that you weren't to contact anyone outside of the thread. There are exceptions to that rule, and those people have been made aware, but those are exceptions. I don't want to come off as being dickish or an asshole, but it's fundamental to the game that all discussion stays open, in the thread.
