Well to be honest with you I didnt fancy this story in the slightest but have been proved wrong as i am enjoying the build up to Quins realisation that he is infact Gay and that shouldnt be a shock to him despite the fact that his Mum could be a little homophobic with the lesbian comment I am also pleased that this story has been completed as i tend to get a bit ancey waiting fot the next chapter to come out as the worst thing is when a writer starts a story and then waits an eternity to get the next chapter like a story i recentl finished well not finished its all he's done so far is a story posted on Nifty called 3 buddies the time frame for the whole story so far is about 1 hour but he wrote the 1st chapter in 2005 the 2nd in 2007 and 2010 and the october of last year and it gets frustraiting so im bleased you are a dedicated writer that dosent have readers hanging for months if not years im looking forward to the rest of Quins Journry

Sorry I did not leave reviews for previous chapers as i was desperate to continue reading and I have to say I couldnt stop crying it broke my heart that it didnt end with them 2 being together I do hope sometime in the future you will write a sequal I know you write a lot of other stories but this one is crying out to be continued and I for one would love to see it Ive read 20 chapters tonight and went through every possible emotion i did not see the Jaryd thing coming and added an air of menace but Dude you need to have them together at the end I know life dosent always work out the way people plan but hope springs eternal and as old cliche Love Conquers all ..at least I hope so and for what these 2 guys have been through they deserve to be happy ...p.s His Dad should be in Jail being but raped by a 270lb black dude with a 13" dong called Bubba ..... metal pipe not good enough......think on Sequal......thanks Dave

ok gone through most emotions now still thinks the world revolves around him and only with his permission and hated him during this for his homophobic views but as i have comented on i believe this is his fathers doing but now starting to feel a little sorry for him and the slashed tyer's from a previous chapter that ones obvious it was luke and still think Charlie is going to get very hurt phisicaly........next

Needs that shrink and very soon he is losing it big style he is having memory losses and my fear is I know when im reviewing this great story and i mean great story you have already completed it ..but my real fear is what if during one of these memory lapses he seriousley hurts Charlie and badley.......god i hope not But??

What ever happens happens and derick for being a smart guy he is as thick as baddley made gravy he is being manipulated and somthing tells me the one going to get seriousley hurt is poor Charlie ......next

Im now begining to think that Derick's dad was molested by an older relative and therefore down on all things Gay and what ive read is that sometimes the molested become the molester Derick??? these blackouts or memory lapses the run to the spot not knowing how he got there and whispering Dad at the restaraunt with Becca is he supressing something bad that his dad has done to him ????? next

as i said it stems from his Father his Mother has backed down from her husbands wishes and basicaly ignored her brother for 10 yrs just to keep her husband happy and this has impacted Derick in so many ways and where we have left off its obvious Charlies mother knows of his reaction.......poor Charlie .......next

The definition of true friendship is that sticks with you whatever the other person does unless it hurts someone else aka a family member like he's slept with my sister or brother over stepping the line of said friendship but to cast him out over his sexual preferenceis stupid and idiotic so there for proving he was never acctualy his friend yes he is hurt and in shock but his beliefs are old and outdated and still believe his father is the root of his beliefs ...but alass poor Charlie

I started reading this chapter this morning and had to leave it half way through as had to go and picked it straight up when I returned tonight and still hooked and can see Derick taking this very badley very very Badley as the secrecy and things but from Charlies point of view He is gay with a very Homophobic best friend that he dosent want to hurt nor lose so what he see's what they dont know cant hurt them.....Right??....ok next chapter

I liked this chaper an air of menace and concern coming from Derick and worry for Charlie as he believes now that Luke cant hurt him but can hurt him through Charlie ....next chapter...lol

damn !!! sorry but this chapter made me cry and the dark bit at the end had me bawling " didnt call me Hero until it was to late" lost youth innocence all in 1 chapter coz some retard made a comment ...shame on Derick for falling for it

Still reading and Charlie crushed as expected by his best friend but darker times are coming i can feel it and well written and still enjoying it and love the develpoment of this story and character and feeling the emotions building in me the reader which is what i look for in this kind of story and my friend bravo for that..ok next chapter

Well I think the question is going to be asked and I dont think and in fact Know derick is not going to like the Answer and for "His Social Standing" he wont act kindley towards his Best friend ....Dark times a head.....ok Next chapter ....see what i mean wanted to read 1 and now look where i am.....jeeez

Yes As i said in previous review I came to read 1 chapter and now this is my third and it blatent to see Charlie is trying to come out to his best friend his " Hero" but how will he take it ....next chapter

Well im new to this site and you are the second Author ive read so far I do prefer to read stories that have substance and development of character like you seem to have I like background to each person and get to know them to be involved in the story ive read a couple of others from another author who has the same mindset dont get me wrong I do read the odd erotic story when im in that mood nothing wrong with a little tittilation now and then but Nifty is good for that but stories of substance ive found here. Asi come here to read a chapter and end up reading 4 or 5 and so far not regreting my decision to subscribe to gay Authors and looking forward to the development of Charlie and Derick but the latter frightens me somewhat as he sounds a bit Narrsassistic and thinks of himself 1st and 2nd and Charlie will probabley get hurt a few times a long the way and Derick will charm his way back into his affections but end up getting hurt once again but i will read on and hope im wrong

hi Andy just read this and great start and I do hope you follow through and serialise this and expand the story a lot further as I have said a few times before I do like your writings and how yyou develop relationships not like some ive read like .. hi my names juhn im steve fancy hooking up ,,no substance no chance to involve the reader in the stories like that ..background substance charecter development all make for a great story for which you are very good at may I say. I have read a few of your stories and comented on them likes of Second Shot ( My all-time favurite gay story.....so far ) and its companion The trial of Jordan.. outstanding stories and looking forward to the story you have in develpment the sequal to second shot for which i wait on baited breath to read like a 12yr old boy waiting on the new Harry Potter Much appreciated Dave........ok next story
