  1. hehe I'll try to explain all this in the next chapter, it will be hard to write
  2. Chapter 6 – Fear and Humiliation You know how it is with rumors in movies? As soon as someone finds out a secret, or something equally tasty rumor-wise, the whole school knows it in less than three nanoseconds. It doesn't really work that way. In reality, rumors often spread slowly. They get passed on during recess or lunch and it takes some time for them to bridge the gaps between the different social cliques that makes up the High School canvas. I didn't know that. I was a paranoid mess duri
  3. I'm still trying to choose between two culprits at the moment hehe, even though I've already written a third of chapter six. Still not sure who to choose since my choice will affect the future of this story

    Chapter 2 - Adam

Hehe, whoops! It's kind of boring to reread my texts since I already know what's going to happen, sorry about that. I'll try to fix it one of these days
  5. Thank you! It's been really fun to write it
  6. Your reflections are always spot-on You really seem to understand Mark! I'm still trying to figure out the next chapter so I really don't know how this will play out, hopefully I'll come up with something soon
  7. The suspense drags on, huhuhu. The "villain" will probably be exposed in the next chapter so be ready for confrontations and possibly additions to the lake that has formed due to Marks tears. Thank you for your input, stay tuned!
  8. Hehe, him throwing himself at Adam whenever things get rough seems to be the theme of this story. About the culprit, I'm curious too! Who will I choose and what will be the motive? I need to think about that, and fast so I can get on with the story haha. Thank you, as always, for you review!
  9. Chapter 5 – Pent Up Feelings and Sudden Outbursts I seated myself in the front seat of the car, closing the passenger door quickly. The wind was harsh outside and I shuddered from cold even though it wasn't far from the apartment complex to the parking lot. Adam opened the door on the other side and seated himself in the drivers seat. “Brrr” he said with a grimace. “Don't worry, this baby has a decent heater.” He smiled at me and turned the engine on. It took a minute before the effects of th
  10. Thanks! I'm not used to writing that much dialogue so I'm glad that you liked it. I agree that both Amanda and Leslie are a little tiring, or annoying if you want, but everyone has some friends that they can't stand half of the time, even though they love them. We'll have to see if I can change your mind about the heroines of this story
  11. I'm glad you liked the diary part, I've been eager to put it in there since I started this story. I needed to wait until it would fit in the story though. And yes, Adam... Even I'm curious how that will turn out, haha. We'll both have to wait and see. Thank you for being a diligent reader of this story, I'm thrilled that people actually follows it!
  12. Chapter 4 – Confessing the Secrets You've Nurtured I spent the three days after my breakdown, or whatever it was, avoiding Amanda and Steve. I was actually getting kind of good at it. Despite their attempts to corner me, I always had an escape route ready. And that was only if they managed to get hold of me. I'd probably discovered all of the schools 'safe spots' by now, I must admit that hiding in a bathroom stall during recess probably could be considered lame though. The classes I shared wit
  13. Heh, squealed again. I love constructive criticism! Please bombard me with it, haha. I have to admit that I write with fiery passion but reread my texts with the attention span of a three year old. Sorry about past and future typos etc. Thats just how I roll
  14. Thank you for your review! (seeing that review notification always makes me squeal a little inside hehe) I'm glad that you seem to see Mark the same way that I do My aim was for him to be a realistic character that people can relate to, while he's surrounded by characters that may be a little more extreme and therefore harder to relate to. I will do my best to maintain the atmosphere of the story and present it in a coherent way, please stay tuned for more chapters
  15. Chapter 3 – Questions and Answers The next day I woke up with a start when the alarm went off on my cellphone. Rubbing the crusts from my eyes while yawning I felt more tired than I usually do in the morning. Only sleeping for a few hours could have something to do with it, I lay awake for god knows how long last night. At first I had been replaying the day before in my mind, maybe focusing a little more on the feeling of Adam's strong arms when he embraced me, but soon my mind started to wande

    Chapter 2 - Adam

Thank you for taking your time to read my story :)I'm not really sure how things will develop from here since I'm kind of freestyling it haha but expect more drama and perhaps some romance
  17. Glad you liked it! chapter two is on it's way shortly
  18. Chapter 2 - Adam I woke up the next morning in a room I didn't recognize and with a severe muscle ache in my legs. I've been to Leslie's house before but I never entered this room, there was no reason to because we mostly hung out in the kitchen or in the living room. The room was painted minty green and you could tell that this was someones former bedroom rather than just a guestroom because of the markings on the wall that indicated the usage of duct tape to put up posters and the almost empt
  19. Thank you so much! This is actually my first attempt at writing, outside of school anyways haha. More is on the way!

    Snowy Road

Mark is suddenly and unwillingly outed to his family. Running away from home a snowy night he ends up at his friend Leslies house. But this is just the beginning of a chain of events set in motion from his outing, some things will be bad and some good.
  21. Chapter 1 – Time for Truths I was about to throw up. The usually fresh air that accompanies winter days like these was replaced by the stuffy kind of air that you find in closed cellars or dusty attics. At least that's how it felt every time I tried to breath, or rather gulp, in air. I was standing with my hands on my knees, gasping, and way too lightly dressed for the rather cold winter night. OK, understatement. It was freezing! But at the moment I didn't even feel the cold, I was too numb t
