Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. A bit of drama again! I liked Zach's handling of the phone call with his mother, although it was maybe just a little bit too much Will-esque. He was very respectful with his mother and tried bravely to show her how he was hurt by his father, and only got belligerent when his mother didn't get it. I had the same idea as an earlier review, in that I fear he'll be outed by the counsellor. It's hard to know what to make of JJ. His character is still too new for me. I hope he'll do well in the skating events Alex will miss. Keep up the amazing work. Lots of loving cuddles, Maarten

Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. For a Will-chapter this was remarkably nice. Usually I can only stand the brat when he's in a scene with Zach, being the loving boyfriend. I don't like that he's injecting himself into JJ's relationship with Alex, though. That can only lead to trouble. Brad and Cam seem very good for each other. I don't think it can last, but it's a good thing for Brad at this point in time. Keep up the amazing work. Lots of loving cuddles, Maarten

Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of flux. I guess you've proven me wrong pretty quickly! Lovely drama, luckily with a good outcome. I was shocked with Matt, to be honest. I thought he wouldn't have regressed to his college jock persona. He's seriously disappointed me big time. I can't help but love his character though. He's truly genuine, fucks up from time to time, and he's loving and caring at times. Masterful character! Wade's asking Alex out was childish, and totally out of character for him. I would've thought he'd just straight up broke up with Matt or sucked it up. I guess there's a lot of drama still on the way, especially with the threat against Hammer in the end. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. I don't know what it is about this book, but it doesn't feel like a Mark Arbour piece of art. Mind you, it's every syllable as well written, but I can't help but feel that it lacks a lot of the twists and turns we've come to expect from you. JJ keeps surprising me by how smart he is. I have no doubt any longer that he's in full control over the relationship with Alex. I do however feel, like I said in my review of the last chapter, that the manipulative streak for JJ is more about self preservation, than that he's aiming to get what he wants. This in contrast to He-who-must-not-be-named, and Brad,who will use manipulation to destroy anyone they don't like. I absolutely loved the way Brad and Cam connected, even after the disastrous time earlier. Brad's view on that earlier date seems to me to be accurate. I think we had very few cross generational relationships in the CAP saga so far, but it was not unheard of, so let's wait and see where this goes. Keep up the amazing work. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. Sorry for reviewing so late after the publication of the chapter. A truly great insight into JJ again. I do however have to disagree with the common line of thinking about JJ's stance in this. I think he's protecting himself with his manipulating behaviour, as opposed to it coming natural to him, like He-who-must-not-be-named and his father. Does JJ even realise the impossibility of anything long term with Alex, due to his family obligations? I think Zach absolutely nailed the issue with his team, although I think faking the injury is going to come back to bite him in the assignment (and not the way he'd like) It was heartbreaking to read the entire trip down stairwell A again. It's so incredibly well done, the way you describe 18th century, aristocratic England. The way George always knows what to say or do, taking every contingency into account, whatever the occasion.... The Alex/JJ part of the chapter was really sweet. I hope this relationship can (and is allowed to) flourish. Brad's heart is in the right place. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. I absolutely love the interaction between JJ and Alex. I hadn't thought of it at the time, but I think Gary might be right in thinking Alex may have found both his sexual needs in JJ. If not, I think it would not hurt JJ as much as it would other people. JJ wants to be Alex's princess. It was good to hear from JJ about his abuse by the coach. I'm loving the little diva! Zach was simply brilliant! I didn't think he had it in him to be this conniving. I fear for Parnell though. I suspect Will is going to check for a relation between this Parnell and Brian. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. Another sweet chapter, but at least we have the setup for major drama in the cliffhanger. I'm wondering if Wade was right about the "Madonna/Whore"-syndrome. I get a totally different feeling from the interaction between JJ and Alex. But, you'll probably surprise us. I'm not into the kinky stuff, so I can't say I focused on the handcuff issue of the chapter, like most reviewers seem to have done. It was exciting anyway. Contrary to ColumbusGuy's thoughts, I again liked the Will part of the chapter, because it centered on his love for Zach. The hockey game was intense, just how Matt likes them. I'm not sure what to make of Hammer, although I'm a staunch proponent of his mantra "what happens on the rink, stays on the rink". Can't wait to see where you'll be taking us. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. I totally love any chapter not involving Will as a narrator,unless it's like the last chapter. It's great to get an insight into JJ. I don't know what to think of the "relationship" (can you call it that?) between JJ and Alex. I was hoping for an easter egg, like having Alex say that his ancestor actually commanded HMS Victory, but the reference we got was still nice. It was nice to see that the awkward atmosphere at first was quickly brightened. Absolutely loved the conversation between like-minded JP and Wade. He's self-aware, confident, insecure, all at the same time. He just feels so REAL. He was incredibly sweet to hire Rosa, I'm glad Wade and Matt figured out it was the right thing to do. Can't wait to see where you'll be taking him. I liked the way Darius took charge of preparing Brad for a night out. I absolutely hate empty one-nighters, but I can see it being important for Brad. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Streak. It was nice to get a real view into JJ again. Another reason to like him over Will. At a younger age he recognises his own flaws immeasurably better than a certain, nearly 16 year old, brat. I guess it's easier for me to look past JJ's shortcomings, since he's actually good at something (skating), where Will doesn't have anything he excels at (at least in my humble opinion) I was saddened by Cam and Brad's drifting apart, but other reviewers are probably right that he's protecting himself. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next book of the CAP saga. I was mildly annoyed to see that it's likely that Will will narrate again. I get we will have to suffer through his bitching about Zachary,but PLEASE keep it down to a minimum! The part with Zach seems to progress naturally from the last book. I hope his football career will be a focus. I liked the part with JJ. I've really missed his growing up. I hope we'll get to see how he's dealing with his molestation too. Like another review said, there seems to be a hint he's gay. I hope you'll write about this part of JJ: JJ's sexual growth, taking into account his molestation. That being said, I hope that Matt reconsiders. I absolutely loved his epiphany, but dropping everything and moving to Boston isn't the answer. Hi Mark, Thanks for the next chapter of Flux. You had hinted at the possibility of Will surprising us in response to my review of the previous chapter, but I can't help but feel it's you yourself as a writer that surprised us. Will hasn't shown this kind of maturity in this kind of situation before and I find it very incredible that he'd allow Zach to explain himself. Usually you include some kind of explanation for emotional growth of your characters, but I missed it here. Loved the way Matt felt an eruption coming, but I'm not sure the note with the ring was the right thing to do. Lots of loving cuddles. Maarten
