    Chapter 4

Chapter 4 Michael quickly sprinkled some water on Mark’s face. “Sam you got the water!” Mark said faintly before slipping into unconsciousness again. “Mark! Wake up,” Michael said splashing some more water on Mark’s face. Mark continued to be unconscious. Seeing that Mark was not going to wake up any time soon, Michael picked Mark up in his arms. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. “Can’t you look before you walk?” Daniel said as he watched the map fly far away.

    Chapter 3

Chapter 3 The next day buses from the campus took everyone to a nearby hill for trekking. “Each group is being provided with a map and basic trekking equipment. You can take pictures if you wish but please do not harm the insects or birds in any way. Move around as much as you want but everyone make sure to get back to camp right here by 6pm. Please regulate your water intake and…” the trekking instructor said. “Disperse!” he instructed and the students went off in the direction of the dense

    Chapter 2

Chapter 2 Early next morning there was a knock on the door. Daniel opened the door to see Mark outside. “How come you guys are not ready yet? The tour around campus is starting from 9 and its 15 to 8 now!” Mark reminded. “What? But my alarm clock says its 7am,” Daniel said. “Nope. See,” Mark showed his wristwatch to Daniel. Daniel rushed to his cupboard and took out his wristwatch and saw that it was indeed 8.45am. “Samuel! Get up! Or you will be late,” Daniel shouted. Sam didn’t budge.

    Dorm Norm

When Daniel Smith got the opportunity to study at his dream institute he jumped at the chance. Getting Samuel Williams as his roommate was surely a bonus. Sam was just the friendliest and caring person ever. Nobody warned Daniel about how different Sam could be if the need arose. With a confused Daniel and a possessive Samuel in the same room, sparks are sure to fly. Dorm life at Sharon Institute is going to be far from boring!
  9. This is an original story which I am writing. Any accidental resemblance to any person dead/alive or fictional is regreted. Chapter 1 “Samuel Williams,” Daniel read on the roommate listing. Daniel Smith was a model student. He had gotten into Sharon Institution with his straight As at school coupled with letters of recommendation from each of his teachers. Being had been a scholarship student at one of the most prestigious private schools in the country Daniel had always concentrated on his

  13. Another yummy recipe which I had come across. I tried it and it was delicious. Hand Rolled Chocolate Truffles Ingredients 1/2 cup heavy cream 12 ounces dark chocolate chips (60%-75% cocoa) 1/4 cup butter 2 chocolate candy bars (70%-85% cocoa) cocoa powder (sifted) 2 tablespoons liquor (optional) 1 pinch salt Directions: 1 Begin with a saucepan. Over medium heat, bring cream just to a boil. Remove from heat. 2 Add the 12oz of chocolate to the hot cream. Stir until smooth. 3 Let sit for a few minutes, add butter 1/2 Tablespoon at a time. Stir until smooth. Stir in optional liquor or flavoring with the pinch of salt. 4 Transfer to bowl for refrigerating. Refrigerate until firm. Usually about 3-5 hours. 5 Form into 3/4inch balls and put back in refrigerator. 6 Sift cocoa powder into medium size bowl. 7 Break chocolate bars into small shards. In metal bowl, over low heat, heat chocolate stirring and scraping sides with a rubber spatula the entire time. Once smooth, remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 8 Bring out truffles and one by one roll them in the melted chocolate and drop them into the cocoa powder. After you've done 5 or so roll them around the powder until covered and set them aside. You may need to reheat the chocolate mid way through, just follow the same steps. 9 After all are covered in cocoa powder, take a med-large sifter and roll them around to remove excess cocoa. 10 Refrigerate.
  14. I recently tried a recipe of Chocolate Terrain. It is very easy to make and very tasty. You will need 17.6oz good-quality dark chocolate, chopped 3.5oz unsalted butter, chopped 13.9oz sweetened condensed milk 7.1oz digestive biscuits 3.5oz roughly chopped pistachio nuts 1.6oz slivered almonds This is the way to make it. Grease and line a 20 cm x 8 cm loaf (bar) tin or terrine mould with baking paper. Combine the chocolate, butter and condensed milk in a heatproof bowl. Fill a saucepan that the bowl will fit over one-third full of water and bring to the boil. Place the bowl over the saucepan and melt the ingredients together, stirring occasionally. Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and tap lightly with a rolling pin or other heavy object until roughly broken. In a large bowl, combine the crushed biscuits with the pistachios and almonds. Pour over the hot chocolate mixture and mix well. Transfer the mixture into the tin, pushing it down to remove any air bubbles, and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Tip: While taking the terrain out of the mould after refrigeration you can put it in a bath of hot water for a minute to facilitate its easier movement out of the mould.
