I'm not really sure why the girls father was calling Ian. The girl is over 18 so no legal issues. William wouldn't apply pressure he doesn't need to so no rape. Is it because it's easier to put the blame on Ian as a lacking father rather than himself. Is the girl pregnant probably not or William would know so probably the blame aspect lol.because of course he was a virgin when he married his wife of course. But on another note this did happen at a good time. Williams life centered way to much around getting some. But I'm not sure if making him go celbste was really a good idea will have to wait and see.

Labels are ridiculous and usually cause more probably. Religions are known for their labels and categories especially when it comes to love and sex. You love who you love. Same gender, opposite gender does it really matter. Some regions are now coming to that observation. Now if you are part of the clergy, should it make any difference. In jim's case if he does fall in love with male partner, would that make him any less a loving and gentle priest, or father. No he is the same man just more fulfilled because he found someone to love and share his life with. The feelings that you have for the person you love is so much more important than the number and type of chromosomes that your genetic DNA profiles carries. This chapter was written very well and I liked the solid information Father Riley used to help his old friend.

I sorta understand jim's inner struggle but I don't understand about his fear of the boys and parents being upset with him. Most likely they may have guessed. I've thought about him being Gay for a while, mostly cause you never hear him talk about women. Yes the fear of the parents who are in the youth group yes some may not understand but the extended family will be right behind him all the way.

Catherine has made her final decision and is ready to fess up. Wonder just how much change there really will be.I don't think andy and Carl have quite the same close relationship that Kevin and Cam do its still based on physical but it's really close tonight specially since they haven't the history of being together as long as cam and Kevin.

Let's hope that these two men have the faith,love and hope to recover from this. Wow its hard to believe the difference in Jeff. But he isn't going into this with blinders on he knows that once the addiction is kicked the hard work begins. Will he slip or stumble most likely but now he has too many people rooting for him and one if not more will be there with there hand out to help him get back on his feet. You could do this solo but half the battle is won if you gave a good support system. Jeff has that will Kevin,cam and Carl. Knowing Ian there will be a top notch recommendation for a detox center . Jeff wants to now he will do it just will take time.

I think Alex and matt made a good decision hiring the Colonel . He knows his stuff for the printing shop but he also respects and has the respect the boys. he can be their buffer when things get tight for them. I'm not sure I trust Carlos 100% yet there is just something I'm not sure about him yet. Idont think he will deliberately service out to hurt the boys but I also don't think he has made the complete decision to clear away from gangs and that like Alex and matt have. He's seems to be sitting the fence and will go whichever way is easiest. I could be wrong but we will see. Good chapter though.

What are they going to do now. They call the sheriff jess could be lost to the system, they call his parents , but have the parents written them off. Will they call ales and see what help he got, but him and john said to stay away from Jeff. Will be interesting to see what they do.

It's a long drive to the house. They still run even with traveling. I guess though with driving all day the exercise probably feels good.

I can't believe Kevin would ask that of Cam. Kevin has always had a high sex drive but I really thought he was as committed to Cam as Cam was to Kevin. The two of them talk all the time about marriage but I'm sorry you don't go up to your partner and say a friend of mine wants to try gay sex one of us should help him. I think what made it worse is the fact that Kevin couldn't understand Cam's POV. this family has a propensity for getting shot. At least even though the potential for high damage and death are there both gunshots caused the least damage possible. Poor Carl to see his father aim to kill him but shoot his foster father's instead then seeing the father be shot by police. Then be the one to stay with him in the helicopter and hospital. I think this young man who constantly calls himself weak is one of the strongest people in the story. In pain from being beaten and raped he reaches out to strangers for help,protects his younger brother from harm ..undergoes trauma therapy for that, befriends another young man that had his parents killed through a person hired by his father, his new home fire bombed and destroyed by this same man and now his foster dad shot and seen his father killed. I don't know many adults who could handle that let alone a teenager.

Why did I know something bad was going to happen.

Why do I have a feeling,interesting that something bad is going to happen. The family has had calm for the last 2-3 weekday since the kidnapping. I hope the trial goes well and the father gets exactly what he deserves. Btw what happened with Kevin father in that case he better get jail time to.

Heat and humidity....ewwwww... I don't envy them. Kevin and Cam continue in their role of caretakers even reaching out to help the couple who own the house they are working on. If the breathing apparatus are to be returned each night what is the big deal about giving them to the home owners to use.... Selfish much??
