    La Luna

La Luna Moonlight, like sunshine, pierces our earth anchored sky, We think not of the consequences, the meaning of this sign. Reflections of majesty, traveling through nothingness, with the speed of a butterflies wing. In the darkest night, she hangs above in serene majesty unseen. When lite, she illuminates our darkened eyes, and shushes, but for a moment the feverish mussing of our minds. She gives food to life below, energy to those that seek it, and inspiration to all who look upon

    For Aaron

Scarcely a moment passes, my mind does not wonder on you. To think of you is to know life. To meditate on you is to find love.
  3. “I lost, and you know what. I’m ok with that.” The words leave my mouth And seem almost unreal, Truly unexpected. I guess this is what my dad meant When he said; I would grow up someday. That I would see the forest for the tress, And feel the beating heart of my own humanity, Reverberating from the alien form of some other being.

    Passing Stars

In this life we are like passing stars, Bright comets arrayed in light and ice With gasses hidden in our stony depths. Precious metals, stones and jewels combined, In sublime salience. Our courses spun and traveled far, Movéd by a force beyond our par. With shifting mass and turning stars, like lighthouse beacons from afar. We travel, sojourn, live and die. Here in the majesty of the sky. We are but procreates of the stars. The vocal echoes of a song long sung, That yet still ring
  5. Words written and words read, Like shattered bending trees in Summer storms, Do find their seeds, spilled on the Ground, raising tress in the spring. Mighty empires when they fall, If in chaos, blood, or shot-less calls. Do live on en perpetua in quiet halls Of ink stained tress. So too what rises must fall, so too Do pains bring knowledge, so too My love you will fall, like the old oak tree And raise new life in the spring. These words I writ, I hope you read. Our love is like th
  6. So it's been 9 months. Nine months of growth, evaluation, of distance and of course pain. Does it really matter anymore, they way I feel? You're uncertain and so am I, neither of us knows what the best path will be. You just want me to be be happy, and all I want is you. But I can't have you, you can't trust me. Can't see past the pain I caused you. So now I'm the shattered one, a martyr to my own love.
  7. I loved you, but not you having me. I loved myself, yet hated my own desire. My love was swallowed in the emotionless void of my life. And, I'm sorry. I wish things could have been different, but hindsight can only change my future. So I toast, a glass of my tears to you to futures lost, and partake in the aching holy Eucharist, made from the shards of my heart. Hoping, praying, believing it will transmute into you. As hope fades, with dying faith, only the greatest remains. Love, such

    For what we all long

"Some days will be hard my love, Others more awe inspiring in their majesty, than the stars shooting across the inky black glass." In that moment the man turned to look into the face of Parker. Tears, filled his eyes on that cold mid-western nigh

    The ABC’s of life

Assume, what you don’t know Believe what you can’t understand Create things without a purpose Defend what you love Embrace the light within you Fail but never give in Glow and always shine Hospitality is like a blank check Invisible but always felt Joy is like a butterfly Known, yet still transcending Love is like a warm, sweet hug Memories fade but always linger Names describe things that always change Opaque sunlight thorough a window pane Paints, the room in dimming light Quie

    I

Am I nothing? I am something? I am molded and fashioned clay! The weight of potential, Weighs heavily upon my day. Like a shining crystal, in a Smooth and pristine sea. The life I want calls out to I, and I will meet it gleefully.

    Star X Crossed

Star-crossed. What's in a name? The feelings that we felt, and the hope that could never live. Like a tree that was bending- then snapped by the wind, my heart aches in silences, in whispered words, and gentle pleas. My heart will heal, but the memories of our star-crossed love, will linger still.

Thanks, the poem wasn't made a specific situation, but like its title says hope. So I'm glad you enjoyed it

    Esperanza

The white snow shines, with pure light; we hold hands under an old oak tree. We unite lips to create ecstasy. A tear falls down my face; you smile and brush it away. You hold me tight, you sooth my pain, thank you for your love! It's like rain on us; it blesses me and you and is encompassed in the hearts of benevolent men. A man like you, who would love me just the way I am. My fears, my pain, my shame. My love, my joy, my all. My everything.
