  1. Thank you! Yeah, the emotions were a lil bared there; but they needed to be. Now they can move on.
  2. Chapter Five Two weeks later, David was at work and a fellow worker urged him to turn on the TV. He did so and he caught a story of an assault victim in Phillip’s neighborhood, quite unusual for that part of town. It was one of the safest cities in the county. The victim’s name was Andrew! David pushed himself from his chair and grabbed his keys. Oh my God… what the hell happened? I have to go to him; I have to see him… No, no, calm down. He’s got his precious Phillip now. He left me
  3. Chapter Four A few days later, Robert asked David to come meet his family. “Guess what, you get the honor of meeting my parents tonight. Lucky you! Everybody’s home.” “Should I wear a suit?” David mused. “No, we’re not formal like that. All they care about is someone who’s nice. You fit the bill.” “Thanks, kid. What time are we going?” “Around 6 pm. Mom likes to have a little conversation before dinner.” “That works. Well, we’d better get moving.” They walked out
  4. Chapter Three After Robert left for the night, David shuffled into his office. He finally realized how Spartan and cold it was. It had no real style at all. “Damn. I think this place looks worse than I feel. It needs some style.” He was interrupted by the phone ringing. He punched the “line 1” button and picked up. “Hello?” It was Cal. “David? How’s it going, kiddo?” “Hiya, boss. How are things?” “I was gonna ask you that. How are things in the dead zone?” David p
  5. Did you read For the Heart of Phillip? Yes, they do know each other, by association. Andrew dated David and Robert dated Phillip...
  6. Chapter Two David’s first few evenings at the physical therapy office were quiet, except for the first one. He was un-packing his office when he ran across a picture of himself and Andy. He glared at it. “You lying… drama queen! You bitch!” He ripped the photo from its frame and tossed it into the trash. David closed his eyes and took a deep calming breath. “He isn’t worth it anymore. He left me. It’s over with.” He picked up the empty frame and slid it into his top desk drawer. It’ll b
  7. Thank you! You might be surprised, but stay tuned.
  8. Prologue It was 9 p.m. on a warm September night. Thirty-one-year-old David Griffin pulled up in the driveway of his house. Of course, it wasn’t just his now—he’d had his lover, Andrew Bradley-Horner, living there for some time. He’d finally come off his shift as a nurse in the emergency room of a nearby hospital after working a twelve-hour day. He was tired, but he felt was in a diplomatic mood to deal with his boyfriend, Andrew. It’d been a rough weekend for them after David had asked
  9. This is the sequel to the much loved (or much hated) story of For the Heart of Phillip. This tells what happened to the two men left in the wake of the last tale.
  10. Chapter One David took the next two days off. He rearranged things in the living room and bought new items to cover the bare spots left behind by Andrew’s stuff. It was torture for him; going to the same stores, walking the same aisles. He changed the furniture from traditional to his new favorite, Asian. That Wednesday, he went to speak with his boss, Cal. “David! Good to see you! Come in, sit down.” Cal was fifty-five, and a big, burly man of about two hundred thirty pounds. He
  11. 5 settled Colby? omg...he's totally fine. noooo! no more Amber
  12. Thank you! Now one more to go...
  13. Sam’s POV “Does this shirt look okay on me?” Sam asked as he turned to face Brett. He held out his arms and turned from side to side as if he were an oscillating fan. Brett laughed out loud and rolled his eyes. “Baby, chill. It’s lunch with our buds and some weird other folks we’ve never met. Remember, we’re there for Ryan and Caleb, not to impress these people.” “I know, I know.” Sam sighed and he faced the mirror again. He picked at the fabric, pulling off a couple of stray black hairs that

  18. Well, after 15 years a story of mine is finally being brought out to the forefront, dusted off, and is being edited for publication (hopefully by year end or Q1 of 2015)! That said, I've hit the wall with another story that even I am struggling with next steps on. How does one overcome a boring section or huge brick wall in your story?
  19. oh definitely
