  1. Sad start, but you'll understand why later.
  2. Thanks! I've never been, but hope to get across the pond someday.
  3. He is a nervous one for sure! But it's all new to him...
  4. Paolo is like his guardian angel.
  5. Two days passed without a word between the two. Alex attempted email after email, but nothing seemed suitable. He went back to school and did as best he could. He wanted to forget about the arguments and just focus on law. It was the end of class, 4 pm. His cell phone buzzed and he glanced at the screen. It was Mason. Alex let it ring about three times before he picked up. “Hi.” He said coolly. “Hello, Alex. Listen, we need to talk. We can’t leave this as it is. I’m leaving tomorrow!” Alex f
  6. After four long weeks, Mason finally did return, which thrilled the lonely lad. Alex met him at the airport and unabashedly kissed him in full view of the other patronage. “Gawd, I missed you! It feels like we’ve been apart forever!” Alex held onto Mason for dear life. Finally, Mason wrested himself from Alex’s grip. “Alex, please! This isn’t the place for our reunion. We can do that later in private.” Mason glanced over his shoulder at the clock and scowled. “Damn, look at the time! Listen, c
  7. I just don't feel inspired...bored, yes...but not inspired. I hope it breaks soon. LOL
  8. At 6 p.m., the sleepy residents finally began to stir. The first to wake was Alex. He was careful not to disturb the still-slumbering Mason. He sat up softly; feeling his still-naked body. It was a curious sensation; but one he welcomed. The bedding was quite sensual and felt good on his bare skin. Alex had never felt so fulfilled in all of his short life. Mason stirred, feeling the absence of Alex in his arms. They sat up together. “I didn’t wake you did I?” Mason kissed the young man’s arm.
  9. Alex called Mason the next morning at 11. They had a few moments of awkward silence before Alex dove into the meat of the discussion. “Mason, I really like you, I don’t want you to think that I don’t.” “Alex, I must apologize to you.” “To me, for what?” “For rushing you into something you’re not ready for. We met only days ago. How about we spend just more time getting to know each other first?” Alex breathed an audible sigh of relief. “Are you sure? I thought from your reaction the other ni
  10. lol! I told you they would get on famously. I think the roomie will take it well and then CJ can throw a dinner party for their friends.
  11. Blank expression? lol...
  12. It's about time, eh? lol...love these two!
  13. Chapter Sixteen One week later Colby’s POV It’d been a week since Colby and Jake had finally gotten together sexually and on the same page with their relationship. Both were much happier and Colby had to admit he couldn’t stop fantasizing about his man during the daytime. He’d just have to do something about that. Jake had spruced up his pool, installing heaters so even on a chilly night the water stayed warm enough to swim in. They planned to take full advantage after their dinner date on a
  14. Always a good thing to have zero trouble on your wedding day. I promise the next chapter is much longer...
  15. Chapter 15 Caleb’s POV The evening was winding down and Caleb was anxious for things to finally come to a close. All he wanted to do in the world was to take his new husband to their hotel room and hold Ryan in his arms all night long. Was that too much to ask? He sure didn’t think so. Luckily, things hadn’t been too horrible; especially considering his family was there and beyond the chilly introductions, his siblings hadn’t said a single word to him. For that, he was actually quite grateful
  16. Mason has some secrets for sure and Alex is in for a wild ride. Paolo is a sweetheart and is a slow mover for sure...stay tuned to see if that blows up in his face or not.
  17. The food had been wonderful and the chatting nearly incessant. The irony of the evening was their waitress was the same, sweet southern girl Calliope. Alex had barely taken his eyes off Mason all evening. He’d never felt this way before, about anyone. He wasn’t even certain what to feel, he’d have to analyze it, but not overanalyze it, as he often did. Mason found the young man highly alluring and considered his bashfulness very sexy. Alex noted the man’s attentive gaze and loved feeling those b
  18. I saw an old pub house listing in Ireland once; I thought it'd be so neat to live in one. Thanks!
  19. Ah! Great catch though. Having never been across the pond, I didn't know. Thanks!
  20. Thanks, Eugene! I have a lot of odd stuff going on family-wise for sure and I need to put it into words. I have done short pieces here and they help for sure Biking is my fav or skating, to get out of a rut and get some inspiration back.
  21. Yup, in a rut in the mud or as I like to say a turtle in frozen molasses. LOL. Basically: writer's block. The prompts here have helped me, but I am still frozen on my other major wip's. Life has me stuck, I'm 4 weeks unemployed now and nothing in the hopper...which is scary and taking my focus away Plus other family issues, etc... Any advice from those in the writer's block prison?
  22. “You expect me to believe that?” Wow, the shrill tone that Tod’s voice took when he got mad was overwhelming. In the past he’d reached pitches that’d shattered some of the glassware at the bar. This was close to that unforgettable sound. Of course I had to reply to it; there was no other option. It was a challenge, and I am always up for a challenge. So, with my nerves steeled, my feet planted firmly in place, and my arms tightly crossed across my chest, I nodded and locked eyes with the man
  23. The next day rolled around and Alex was breathless with anticipation. It was finally sunny out and a perfect temperature of 75 degrees. Both men were in shorts and polo shirts as they parked the car, gathered their picnic gear, and set out. They chose a spot in Hyde Park where they could talk privately. It was a bit further into the park than Alex would’ve liked; but he followed along anyway. Something about the handsome Mason made him want to follow the man anywhere. Now, if he could just figur
  24. Hello! I am glad you are enjoying the story so far. As for Mason's attraction to Alex...the ballsy move he did and because he is young and inexperienced is definitely the draw to him. Alex is a cute little rabbit. The opening scene comes full circle later on, but I won't give away more than that, just to expect the unexpected.
