Dutch still isn't as bad as the Finno-Uralic languages, I can tell you that, lol!
I don't think it's possible to write a good story without somebody hating it. If you think about it, it's kind of a good thing. If they hate it, that means they have feelings about it. Much better than indifference. At least, that's what I tell myself.
What we call blueberries here is something completely different from what you have... Arctic blueberries grow on shrubs close to the ground, and are blue (well, blueish purple) all the way through. I find this fascinating.
Readers abandoned Nemesis in droves... First there was a thing in the first book that pissed them off, then it was the end of the second book... Some kept reading anyway and commented again at the end of book 3. Then there were the people who complained about the swearing in The Jacob & Marcus Tales... Where I specifically stated that the whole thing began as an exercise in creative swearing. The most perplexing was a reader who was upset that a sixteen-year-old boy had his first kiss with someone other than his crush whom he didn't even know he had a chance with. I'm all about alienating my readers. It's like a sport.
Well, here's what I think: Write the story you want to write. If people like it, great! If they don't... You wrote a story you wanted to write and you were true to yourself while doing so. Only you can tell the story that's inside you. So, screw the haters. You're not their bitch.
Salmon also goes really well with Thai green curry. I do this thing where I fry salmon fillets and pour green curry and coconut milk over and let them cook in that for fifteen minutes or so. It's yummy.
That sounds tasty! I like sweet fruity things with meat. Sometimes when I want a good dinner but can't be bothered to cook anything complicated, I buy a pre-grilled chicken and this cherry compote thingy. Poor the cherry compote over the chicken, stick it in the oven for fifteen or so minutes, the compote glazes the skin and makes it super crispy. Serve with rice.
I made Thai chicken green curry today. That was yummy too.
Well... Some people are asexual, they don't like having sex and prefer not to. Whatever makes people happy.
Omg, the bit at the end where Paul is telling Chad what he likes about Corbin... I got to the end of that and found myself with the biggest, goofiest grin on my face, lol! Paul is adorable. What an awesome guy!
