  1. Thanks. It is open enough to say so much more. 😁
  2. Thank you! Maybe I should do so. 🥳
  3. I take this prompt as literal. It was a reaction to a dream. Dreams are the grist of our lives. I don’t see it as supernatural, though any prompt writing could make it so spectacularly!
  4. Thanks! I love the genre, but our discussions and interactions helped foster my ideas.
  5. Murder 101 Stephen awoke with a start. He bolted straight up in bed and looked at the glowing clock face. It was exactly 3:17 am. His heart was beating widely. His breathing was labored and short. The sheets wound around him were damp with his sweat. He could NOT get the picture out of his head. The image of the bloody woman on the pavement, the street light streaming down, the smell of blood in his nostrils, and the greasy feel of blood on his hands still seemed so real. How ca
  6. Here is my prompt for the murder story and prompt #124. What do you think? https://gayauthors.org/story/cole-matthews/this-and-that-prompt/5

Thanks! Yes. It was so funny how we took prompts in different directions but also some striking similarities. Not with this one though.

  14. And my response to Prompt #123 https://gayauthors.org/story/cole-matthews/this-and-that-prompt/4 Enjoy!
  15. “Did you know the New York Giants stay here during spring training?” the guy showing me to my little cottage asked. In a ‘real’ hotel, the job of this young fellow would be called a ‘bellboy’ but it seemed like the wrong term for someone who directed you riding in your car through little private streets to a small cabin complete with a carport. However, he was making small talk and telling me about the amenities of the place, which seemed rather bizarre these days. “The TV room is open fr
  16. As I did with yours! Thanks!
  17. Yeah!
  18. Thanks so much! Then you definitely remember it like the character did.
  19. Doesn’t it? I think that makes it an especially good prompt. Thanks!
  20. We found reading each others experiences were really interesting and we were flooded with memories. Thanks so much!
  21. It’s fascinating how it brings us back in time! Thanks!
  22. Stylish!!!
  23. I bet your ears were itchy! We talked about you quite a bit. Hopefully you'll enjoy our fun!
  24. We had a great week of exploring the Mesa area together and writing in the late afternoons. One of the ideas I hadwas an abandoned space. It was a vacation spa with mineral waters and even a museum of taxidermy. This was a space I stumbled upon and wanted to capture its essence both for imagination and historical purposes. Valkyrie enjoyed the idea as much as I did as you will read. We also pulled out some of our prompt books and randomly selected an idea or two. One of them was about a murder dream, and of course I loved the idea. We came up with two very different interpretations on a theme. Which, is the fun of prompts!!!! Prompt #123 Prompt #124 You have a dream that you have murdered someone. Who is it, how and why did the murder happen, and what happens afterward?
