I'm so glad those things about Mick come through. He's a good guy who cares about others, but he's really isolated. Like anyone he craves connection but he feels that he can't allow true connection with others. Sex is something that gives him physical connection and at lease a semblance of emotional connection.Mick has a knack for getting himself in trouble. >.< Takashi is a fun character. I look forward to showing more of what he is and his history. I haven't entirely decided whether they will be FWB or in a deeper relationship. We'll see where it goes. Oh my goodness, what a review! Yeah, who says trigger warnings can't be fun? And yeah Takashi is a kinky bugger, but he doesn't mind vanilla either. To be honest I am a fan of polyamory, but I can't say what dynamic is going to be best for everyone. Mick needs Riley, in what way and how often is something we don't know yet. Takashi has things to offer him. Guy, though, really wants to help Mick and make his life better, not just accept how things are. It's a tricky question to decide what's best for Mick and what Mick wants (those may be different things). I haven't decided just how militant Guy is going to be. We'll see how it plays out. There will definitely be butting heads when Guy and Takashi meet. The queen is really a piece of work. Nasty creature. Luckily no one knows about Mick yet. But, if Takashi and Riley could figure it out others could too. I must admit this chapter was awfully fun to write because I'm a big old perv. I'm glad you liked it! I hope you like the next one! Oh yeah, Takashi and Riley would love to play again, and Mick wouldn't turn them away. Especially now that they've seen his scars and didn't turn away or freak out. He's never had that before. It's a huge deal. Mick doesn't think like mainstream human society firstly because of how he grew up and that warped him, but also because he's not human so he thinks differently. Riley and Takashi aren't human either. Polyamory is cool with all of them. Riley's a masochist... because it was really fun to make him one because I'm a very wicked author. Your reviews have made my day. Thanks bunches! I love Guy, he's so intense and genuine. Mick does have a really hard time. He doesn't get all self-pitying though, he just does what he feels he has to in order to survive. Pity from others is a physically unpleasant feeling for him to experience. He's gotten some odd ideas about the world and himself over the years, too. He's pretty messed up.
