I'm so glad you liked it. I have a little crush on Takashi... Anyway, Takashi isn't perfect. If anything, he may be just a little too laid back about things, too accepting of some things. It's a matter of perspective if that's a flaw or not. Same with Guy, he is protective and headstrong, that can be an asset or a flaw depending on perspective and the situation. I know what you mean. Poor Guy! Mick is convinced that there is no way Guy will be interested in him after that whole mess with Lester and the aftermath. Lester is scary. I hate him bunches. And I feel so bad for Guy, he really is trying so hard. He had a lot thrown at him all at once. He's so sweet, though! Don't give up on Guy, he'll be back. It will definitely be rocky though, and a lot of things will happen between now and then. As for werewolves having mates, in my universe they don't have one true "Mate". They fall in love and marry. The birthrate is pretty good, there's no were shortage. Also, were genes are extremely dominant, so a were and a non-were would make were babies. They also are pretty tolerant of non-reproducing or gay couples where one is non-were as long as the non-were has something to contribute to the pack. Yeah, Mick was shocked that it wasn't a booty call. Poor Mick and his whacked out worldview. Being a werewolf is a hereditary thing. The birth rate isn't bad for werewolves and the genetics are quite dominant though. So a m/f were couple will have full were kids. However, gay couples or non-reproducing couples are accepted, especially if the non-were brings something to the pack. That is part of why Guy had to get permission to pursue Mick. Mick has a lot to offer to the pack, so they gave him the thumbs up. lol I don't know if this will ever come up in the story, but it's what I figured out for myself.
