Hey, it sounds like the story has changed a lot since the first time I've read it. My internet's been down these last couple of weeks so I'm going to read it again when my time isn't limited. I still need to catch up on Erebi Seeking.

Maybe Grandma Alice is in Arizona to tell Rory that she's running off with her hot young lover, and consequently has sold the house. lennyO and glomph: I know lots of 50+ people who are more active than I am, without a single strand of grey hair. I don't think it's just her age that makes us assume she is an old...it's also the description of her. Fuzzy blue jumpsuit, grey curls, five feet tall--I get an image of a little old lady.

Yaoi is the term the use in Japanese. (It's an acronym for no climax, no resolution, no meaning). I've been a fan of gay erotic fiction since I was fifteen as well. There's actually a convention in California called YaoiCon and it focuses on gay porn. (I'm going to be there in October! (if anyone cares )) I used to think that maybe its the equivalent of straight guys liking lesbians, but as the genre is growing, I realize that perhaps gay erotic fiction has the potential to appeal to a larger audience. One of the main reasons why I like it is because it has a nice balance of sex and plot. Reading/watching porn without plot doesn't interest me. Maybe that's why most girls (I think) don't watch straight porn that much. It's all badly done. Gay erotic fiction, on the other hand, has the sensitive romance that girls like, but it also has the sensual and carnal aspect that women have been denied in the past. The Japanese mangas and animes are very well done. Even my straight guy friends are willing to watch/read them because the plot is intriguing. I'm not sure if I answered the question................

I think there's good in everyone. As much as we all love to hate Aaron, clearly he also has his own issues he must work out. And by redemption, I don't mean I want him to get back together with Rory or Luke or Seth. I just want to see him become a better person.

I don't know what to make of Luke liking both Rory and Dave. I think Luke was very hurt by Aaron's actions and I don't think he's quite over that yet. And for some reason, I find myself missing Aaron. As much as we like to hate him, he brings a certain...(I'm fishing for a word and I can't seem to find it) quality to the whole story. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I hope there's redemption for Aaron. I would like to see him come back into the story.

Does this mean Will and Andrew eventually end up together???? I'm on Carter's War, and was quite upset to learn that they had parted ways... It's not that I don't like Marc, but Will and Andrew just seem like they belong together... forever.

I tried to join the GLBT club at my university. I found it to be more of a clique than anything, and promptly left. However, I will be volunteering at a Transgendered community centre this summer, and I am very excited about it. It gives people a chance to contribute to the community and to meet new people, so I don't feel as if I'm just there to gossip. I think it depends on the type of club you want to join and what you are looking for. If you want to meet new people, than perhaps a club is good. If you want to promote tolerance and make a difference, perhaps joining a group oriented towards volunteer work is better. I think you should give both a try nonetheless.

Hmmm...I think that if Grandma Alice and Luke hooked up, I'd still read it. I have faith that Dom's writing will allow me to suspend my disbelief... Or maybe I'm just a Dom-whore....

I don't think you're weird. I'm afraid of ghosts also. If I lived in a town referred to as that haunted town, I think my fear would've got me a long time ago. You know kids sleep with their night lights on when they're afraid of the dark? Well, I sleep with my room lights on.

You know, before Aaron admitted that he liked Seth more, I always thought that Aaron went out with Rory to get closer to Luke as well. There's a part of me that wants Aaron and Luke back together again. I know Aaron is bad, but I think that while they were going out, Luke brought out the better side of him. In the beginning, Rory noticed that Aaron never said anything bad about Luke. I think it would be so sweet if Aaron were to make some kind of sacrifice and win Luke back. Luke needs some lovin'.

I'm terrified of failure. Sometimes, I want to give up before I begin in order to avoid any possibilities of failure.

I'm too confused from Chapter 30 to even attempt to figure out where Dom is going with the story, but I don't want Luke and Rory to end up together. Luke is my favorite character in the story so far, and I think that Luke deserves much better than Rory. I tend to agree with Nick about Rory disappointing Luke. Luke deserves someone totally committed. I mean, Rory's young and he's confused, but he jumped from Aaron to Seth rather quickly, and if something were to happen between him and Seth, jumping to Luke would seem like a last resort. Luke's already been through Aaron cheating on him. Luke needs someone who loves him for who he is, someone who appreciates his kindness and someone who could reciprocate his feelings. I would be very angry at Rory for going out with Luke just because things with Aaron and Seth didn't work out. I volunteer to go out with Luke.

I like With Trust. Chapter Story is...really bad. Writing of your calibre shouldn't be misled by such a title. The Painting Boy reminds me of gay porn. Or maybe I just don't like titles with 'The' in it...Or maybe I watch too much gay porn... Crash is okay.

Prince Andrea of Monaco. I had a hard time finding casual photos of him. He's usually in suits and looks very prim and proper. (I can barely resist him ) Although, I do agree that Charlie Hunman has that laid back surfer guy look that's more characteristic of Luke.
