  1. Yeah, well... insecurities flare up now and then. But as I mentioned to you before (Prologue?) I'm happy with this story's reception. And the love shown the entire series. I've come to realize my chapters/stories don't top the list in views, reactions, comments, recommendations, or reviews, but they do pretty darn well. I'll keep trying to put out an interesting, well-written product.
  2. I need Jimmy Chen's technology knowledge. He can inject GA with a virus capable of destroying chapters unless the author provides a thumb print or retinal scan. See what you did? Now I have to write more intrigue into my stories.
  3. Hmmmmm.... something to keep in mind. I could see CJ using that as an argument against religious be LIE fs.
  4. Those are the believable ones.
  5. Ooops, I think I'm going on a long motorcycle trip starting tomorrow. You know, since I don't have to sleep I may as well ride. Roadside motels are notorious for iffy internet, so y'all can blame Cris for me not posting again until I return. Sometime in April?
  6. Time to get new glasses!
  7. Yeah! Ozzie has a backbone we might not have been aware of before. I think Liebe's changed him in more ways than even he realizes. He's determined to protect her and that means protecting CJ!
  8. Glad I can help you start the weekend with an enjoyable read. I'm amazed how much attention Northman gets even when he has a small part in the chapter. I need more characters like him! Too bad all I'm writing these days are slice-of-life stories with zero conflict. Unless Liebe throws a tantrum and CJ goes after her again.
  9. See? I'm an equal opportunity abuser. Gingers (Primarily Sean and Brad) have had it easy so far.
  10. Moi? Misdirection? perish the thought! That I lump in with cliffhangers and romance novels as things I'd never write. Spoiler! There may be one or more twists coming up. I'm so happy when I can surprise readers even after they've been speculating on what comes next.
  11. I haven't seen the latest Marvel movies, but aren't they playing around with timelines and alternate realities? If Disney can do it, so can I. EDIT- It was grapefruit juice this morning.
  12. Just you wait. A few more people may want to get in on the fun.
  13. We listen to some of their conversation in the plane, so we'll see if that's what the Russian has in mind. He could be on the level, and knowing CJ, he may convince Domogarov to play nice. After he cusses him out.
  14. @scrubber6620 I suspect all intelligence services work on a 'need-to-know' basis. Jake's been aware of what was going on from the beginning and finally lets CJ know. I'd say having our guys under surveillance for a little while proves CJ and Owen are but small pieces in a large puzzle. In the big picture, they're expendable. Cover stories work best when based in truth. We may end up with a little CJ or little Owen.
  15. I think I hit a nerve with this chapter. The reactions have been coming in fast and furious. Is it now. Do tell, please. I'd say both. And having an experienced diplomat in his corner can only benefit CJ. I hope she sticks around for a long time. I mean, she's either in her late 40s or early 50s at this point.
  16. I could have him posted to some remote embassy. Or I could have the Russians blame him for CJ's actions since he's our guy's supervisor and take him out. So many options, so little time to write them all...
  17. LMAO Hey, Domogarov's a seasoned operative, maybe he'll give CJ some good advice. A small jet, with CJ, Domogarov, and a sprinkling of CIA agents might make for an interesting flight. As for Northman, he needs someone to sit him down and explain the facts of life to him: CJ's the story's protagonist and will ALWAYS end up on top. (Any of you with your minds in the gutter better stop.)
  18. Is it? Careful there. I think I surprised everyone with Domogarov's defection, and you never know what I may have up my sleeve.
  19. A bitter and dejected Owen packs up Liebe and moves back to Australia. She becomes a problem child, spending most of her high school years in the winery's cellar, goes to school in the US, and is recruited by the CIA. After years as a covert operative, she leaves the agency and becomes a contract killer. She hunts down Domogarov, Spike, Northman, and a few others and takes them out after torturing them for the hell of it. The End.
  20. I'm just as bad. The entire story's posted on GA already, and I read the next chapter after I published this one. Had to make sure I didn't give away too much. Just 7 more sleeps until we're on that plane to the US.
  21. I'm considering bringing Northman back when CJ's appointer Ambassador to Cuba. What do you think? He would be reporting to his nemesis! Imagine the fun we could have with him.LOL
  22. But there will also be a couple more additional characters introduced, and several new story arcs opened. The goal is to keep readers interested. I'm a glutton for reactions and comments.
  23. If we can get CJ to Washington alive, he might be okay. Brad, Wingnut, and Lola are waiting at Everhope to protect him. Northman can continue trying to bring CJ down, but I suspect that brick wall he's banging against won't crumble.
  24. What else is new? LOL Northman may have a good reputation but not among those friendly to CJ. Hell, even a lone CIA agent in town for one day slams him!
  25. A few days of family time in the snow was just the break they, me, and readers needed. Time for more cocktail and dinner parties. After Domogarov's gone from their lives.
