I'm trying, I'm going to bed at a reasonable time and not staying in front of a screen even if I can't sleep. I've also bought some plant based "sleeping pills" to help with relaxing, falling asleep and sleep quality made with passionflower, poppy and rhodiola. Thanks Mr T

Retirement seems to be such a hardship

I've been dealing with insomnia the last couple of days, probably from stress, and it has completely fucked up my sleep schedule. This is so weird. It's just past 6am here and I've just heard the upstairs neighbor (the loud and annoying one) making some weird noises, like he dragged something big and heavy wrapped in plastic down the stairs and outside... a rug? A body? His wife's body wrapped in the curtain shower??? Then when he came back inside he was whispering to someone. Yeah coming from him the whispering is almost as, if not more, suspicious as the plastic noise. And yeah I haven't gone to sleep yet sooo that might explain the crazy imagination... though I'm totally checking the big common bins outside later

Bonjour Terry, I had 2 exams today. I'm just out of the last one and waiting for the bus to go back to the apartment. I must admit I don't feel too good about what I did but I did what I could and we'll see. I feel so drain I don't have plans for the rest of the day except lounging on the couch and losing myself in crochet stitches. How the first Monday of the year treating you?

Both my cousines are anti vaccin. They're all hippy, into the organic things, let use plants instead of medicine blablabla and yeah sure for most things it's better but not in this situation. The younger is part of a social Cafe but as she's not vaccinated she can only take part of the outdoor activities so lately she's been organizing night walks in the forest. My uncle told me she went with a group of over 50 people to walk from 10pm to 5am if it makes her happy... The older one lives in the mountain so most of her activities are already outdoors anyway like hiking but not being vaccinated she can take her toddler to the baby swimmer classes which he loved. And she doesn't want to vaccin her kid. She had to do the minimum required for the child minder but that's all.

Hey Terry, I'm better. I'm back at the apartment after having lunch at my grandma. It was ok. Tomorrow will be a slow day: no studying just lot of reading (for fun) in bed, a bit of netflix and chill and maybe a walk to clear my mind before having to face a week of exams. I'm a bit sad though cause Looping went hiding when I had to leave the house this morning and we didn't had time to chase him around the house or we would've been late for lunch. It's the first evening and I'm already missing the little critter Did you take any new year resolutions?
