It's that time again... For all of you guys who have been around for any length of time...you know that October 10th is a very special date for me, personally. And I've gone out of my way to make it a holiday here n the Shack. It happened many years ago, but I'd be lying if I said that the wound doesn't still feel fresh when I dwell on it for too long. I lost a good friend to suicide that day. He was only 17 years old...and it's still difficult for me to understand why he felt so desperate, so alone. That pain will never go away. But...over time, I've come to realize that he had a life worth celebrating, instead of a death worth mourning. I made a promise to reach out to help as many people as I possibly could after losing him. I'm keeping my promise. And I plan to honor him every year for the rest of my life. Because people need to know. They need to feel loved, respected, and appreciated. Every year, I take this day and I remind the world that it costs us NOTHING to reach out and help somebody in need. Talk to someone who needs a friend. Give a compliment once in a while. Lend a friendly ear or give someone a shoulder to lean on. There are so many people who hide behind their keyboards and spread venom and hatred for no reason and with no purpose at all. But...ask them to tell the people they love and respect how they feel...and sudden'y they don't have the time, or the energy, or the courage, to SAY something. That's so backwards. And it makes the world a colder place. It doesn't have to be that way. So...even if you only do it ONE day a year, pick today, and spread a little love to the people you care about. K? On October 10th, you've got the permission and the encouragement to do something positive. Smile at a stranger, call an old friend, reconnect with your parents, give that loose change in your pocket to that homeless guy on the corner. It doesn't have to be something monumental. It just has to be real. We always assume people know how we feel about them, and that they'll be just fine without us having to 'weaken' ourselves enough to speak the words out loud. Well...that's not always true. Not for you. Not for anybody. Don't let the people in your life feel alone or underappreciated. You never know what they're going through. And God help you if one day...it's too late to say what you needed to say. ((Hugz)) I love you all. And share some of your light with others this week. K? Trust me, you've got plenty to spare.

Wednesday - Awkward is what I would call it. Seeing both Taylor and Garrett at work this morning at the same time. Not really talking to one another like they were before. Barely even making eye contact unless it was absolutely necessary. And even then, it looked like some weird, obligatory, connection that was made to keep one another from feeling uncomfortable within such a cramped space. I mean how big can a music store in the mall really be? You know? It was kind of painful to watch

Hehehe, sorry that I had to step away for a short while. But my work schedule is much more relaxed this week. So let's spend it having some fun, shall we? A brand new chapter of Kiss Of An Angel is up tonight! I hope you like it! Let me know what you think! ((Hugz)) in advance! https://www.gayauthors.org/story/comicality/kissofanangel/

"Kiss Of An Angel 22" "Hello..." I said, my voice squeaking a little bit as I fought to shiver myself to pieces. "What's up, babe? Come on in." Tyler said. He stepped aside to grant me entry into his 'castle', hehehe, and I found myself getting extremely nervous as I got close enough to actually reach out and touch him. He was wearing these shiny red soccer shorts, and a white t-shirt. And he was barefoot. Geez, even his feet are pretty. I swear, I've developed a hardcore fetish fo

Actually...it was posted on GayAuthors in 2010, but this is actually the second story that I ever wrote! Right after the first "New Kid" chapter! ::Giggles:: Fun fact...the 'boy next door'...who's a shy artist with an adorable blush? He's actually based on Ariel. Yep! I miss Ariel. He was so adorable in real life!
-
Oh...and Stevie and Simon are both from "Billy Chase"!
-
LOL!!! If there was a Comsie Jeopardy game...you would score, big time! Keen eye, dude! ::giggles::

Thanks. It may sound strange, but I've gotten used to it at this point. Sometimes it hurts, but...what am I going to do? Stop writing? Stop following my passion? Kill myself? Sell my soul to them so they can have their way? I just don't see what the goal is in treating people that way. What's the point? The only thing they can accomplish is making me feel like shit and not writing anymore. That's, like...the ONLY result that can come from their comments. So...is that what they want? If so, then they failed. Miserably. They've been failing for 20 years, and will keep failing for 20 more. :: Shrugs :: What have THEY done for anybody? Stay angry. Who gives a fuck? Hehehe!

Hehehe, at least I'm getting a little better! This is the one time that I'm actually HAPPY to bore one of my readers.
-
Nah, "GFD" is still sort of grounded in 'reality'. I'm talking actual FANTASY! Like..."Dark Crystal", "Dune", "Lord Of The Rings", stuff. I want to try though! I'll make that my challenge for 2019! Hehehe! Let's see what I can do with it. I can do comic books, I can do sci fi, I can do supernatural horror. But fantasy? I'm kinda scared.
-
Poetry, fantasy, and mysteries! I definitely suck at all three! Or at least I'm intimidated by them.

Hahaha! No. No snark or offense taken. I just haven't gone back through the chapter to put things in 'context'. I'd have to go back through the chapter to figure out what I was thinking at the time. But that will take some time. No worries!

You can also send me email with stuff at Comicality@webtv.net with suggestions. K? I may not be ignoring you, just keeping busy.

Thanks so much for the love and support, Wattelec! ((Hugz))

I've actually been making corrections for the ebook releases, tying to make them as best as I can. But if I missed anything, let me know. I'll try to correct it along the way. Writing stories taught me a lot,but I've still got a way to go.

It made me giggle helplessly to see Bryce's goofy face again today. An early Saturday afternoon, with a group of us getting together to jump on a bus and travel out to the big mall on the outskirts of town. The six of us had planned to spend the whole day window shopping, eating junk food, and catching a recent horror movie at the giant Cineplex at the far end of the mall parking lot. Me, Bryce...and our closest friends, Bradley, Jon, Tessa, and Ashley. We've been hanging out as the best of frie

A series of weekend gatherings between a group of high school students secures their close friendship and makes sure that nothing changes from the bond they've been sharing since they were young. However, when two boys, Gavin and Bryce, discover a little something extra in their friendship...hanging out with the rest of the group may never be the same again.

((Hugz)) Sleep well!

LOL! Thanks again! I wrote this so long ago, I think I have to read it again myself! Hehehe, but every word is always appreciated. Thank you! ((Hugz))
