    Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4 I picked up the dirty clothes, I cleared off the dressers, I got rid of anything and everything that could possibly be seen as embarrassing, when it came to my room. I even looked at my posters and stuff to see if there was something that I should take down or replace with something else before Christopher Margo came over to bless my house with his presence! Jesus Christ! He's actually coming here! Like...HERE!!! What am I going to do? I had this need to make him think that th
  4. Now, there are still a couple of sections that still need some work! But I have to give sincere kudos to the folks who have been working their ASSES off to pull off a complete re-installment of the entire site in such a quick and efficient manner! WOW! I didn't even think it would be possible to get everything back online in time for the anniversary! But they were dedicated, and they went the extra mile for something that they truly believed in! So MAJOR thanks to you guys for that! Thank you for believing and caring about the project, and for making all of our hard work worthwhile! There are a few parts missing in the 2018 updates of the magazine, but I will be working hard to search through my files and fill those in as soon as I can. K? For now, though...ENJOY! And while a July 1st deadline is a bit overambitious at this point, a new issue will DEFINITELY be ready for August! So if any of you want to submit a story or article for Imagine Magazine, send it to Comicality@webtv.net, and I'll be sure to save you a spot! Cool? Give me a week or so to toy around with the new platform, and I'll be able to navigate much better later on! Until then, check out the last two or three issues of Imagine to see what direction we're going in! And don't hesitate to talk to me to let me know if you want to be a part of it too! Have fun! http://imagine-magazine.org/

  6. One story. That's all it took. One story, typed out in an email and sent to the Nifty Archive. Hehehe, I look back and it seems like ancient history to me, and yet...so vivid that I can remember every detail of it. No big deal, no writing professors, no degree in fiction, nothing public...just a scared and closeted guy who wanted to relieve some sexual tension by trying to write the kind of story that no one else was writing at the time. There were some good ones, but they were becoming few and far between. I had so many ideas for what I wanted to SEE! What I wanted to FEEL! And...I reached a point where I just wanted to take a shot at it. Why not? Right? Well...here we are, 20 years later. To the day. And it has been an AMAZING ride! Not just for me, but for many of us. When I talk about the Shack, you guys are always included. You are the fire that keeps this place going. It's YOU that contributes a piece of your heart and your emotion, just a few minutes at a time, that has allowed this place to thrive and survive for as long as it has. You are the bones and blood of this place, and I thank the stars every DAY that you guys have stuck by me for so long! And I'm so thrilled to be meeting many more of you guys for the very first time! In the past month alone, I've gotten emails from a TON of new visitors that never even knew this place existed before! So let me extend a welcome to you guys as well, and welcome you aboard. We've become a tightly knit family here over the years, and nothing has changed. Love you lots, and feel free to talk to me at Comicality@webtv.net any time you like. It may take me a while to answer...but I ALWAYS do! Always! I won't take up too much of your time with any long winded speeches or anything. I just want you guys to know that on June 19th, 1998...I planted a seed with a single story that truly changed my life forever. I have no idea who I'd be right now if it wasn't for 'Comicality'...and I have thousands of emails from amazing people who have said the same. We've grown soooo much since this site first started out. We've had our arguments and our heartbreaks, our technological issues and our hacker attacks. But...at the end of the day, we've evolved beyond it all. Love wins. Love always wins. And if you're reading this right now...I'm going to assume that this website, with all of its flaws and hiccups...has made an impact on your lives as well. Even if it was just a moment to make you smile, and think..."Love is grand". If I was able to do that with a cheap WebTV box, a 3rd grader's knowledge of techy programming, and some words on a screen? Then I feel BLESSED to have become a part of your lives, even if only in a small way. Because, in my mind, that's what life is all about. Leaving a footprint behind. Something positive that will hopefully outlive you through the memories and good fortunes of the people who have, somehow, been affected by the things you've done in this life. Missions accomplished while you had the chance. I feel good today. Accomplished. Loved. Supported. This website, these stories, will be around long after I'm gone. I take pride in that. I really do. So thank you! I recognize your loyalty to this site, even when I'm being a bastard! LOL! I only hope you recognize my dedication as well, and have some faith in me and my ability to give you the best that I've got. EVERY...SINGLE...TIME! We're going to part for an entire WEEK, folks! Starting today! "New Kid In School 59" is up in the Library right NOW if you want to read it! So enjoy, and let me know what you think! "Year 20" starts TODAY!!! Woo hoo!!! Keep your eyes right here for more! Let's see if I can raise a few eyebrows between now and next Tuesday, shall we? >:) In the meantime...hehehe, I just LOVE this kid!!! It's like...one of my favorite videos ever! Let's start this party right!!!

  11. "New Kid In School 59" Ryan hadn't really given me much of a hint as to where he was whisking me off to all of a sudden, so it was difficult to figure out what I sure wear. Sometimes I have this weird thing about being under or over dressed when I'm around other people. It just feels weird to me. So I tried to pick an outfit that had that 'back to school', classy, casual, look to it...grabbed my house keys, and hopped into Ryan's dad's car. He immediately leaned over to give me a sl
  12. One of my absolute FAVORITE videos of all time came from Christina Aguilera! And even if you've heard this song before...this is NOT the version of this video that you'll see on MTV or VH1! The 'consumer friendly' version is heavily edited and practically cut to pieces, due to Transgendered, transvestite, and gay themes. (And yet the bullying and anorexic themes remain) But this is the video as it was meant to be seen originally. Between the visuals, Christina's powerful voice, and the lyrics of the song...it's truly a moving experience! So please watch! And feel good today! K? It's a smile and a hug, sent from me to you. Enjoy!
  13. I quickly became a fan of this song on the first listen! I mean, vocally...it's amazing. But I've come to expect that from Christina Aguilera no matter what. I mean...that's not even an issue. She's ALWAYS awesome! Hehehe! I'm not as familiar with Demi Lovato, even though I've heard a lot of her stuff before. So kudos to her as well. This song is amazing! The lyrics about female empowerment? Spot on! Share it if you can! Hehehe, sorry, it's just so awesome to see the world growing up for a change! It gives me hope for the future. Maybe not a future that I'll live long enough to see for myself...but the future nonetheless!
  14. Yep! That's pretty much how it felt that first time as a kid! Like a deadly disease! It comes for us all eventually, I suppose.
  15. Ruel is putting this EP together in RECORD time! Jesus! I've loved everything I've heard from him so far, so...keep going, dude! He is a gem! Alrigt, going to work now. Last minute. I've been staling.
  16. I hink my first celeb fascination was 'Tony' from 'Escape From Witch Mountain'! Hehehe, I was little, but I was all about a cute boy with magic powers! Ahhhh, Disney reruns on Sundays...
  17. I had the BIGGEST crush on Jodie Foster growing up! So I'm right there with ya! XD
  18. The first Harry Potter movie...presented in a variety of different ways! Crazy, right?
  19. Let it be known, for the 'Teen Pop Nostradamus 2018' vote back in January, it was HARD to pick only three choices! But I picked Ruel, Carson Leuders, and Bomb Digz! For a variety of reasons. But Ruel was the right one to bet on so far! Let's see what happens with the others!
