Yeah, I agree... Both were emotional, but because we knew Sean, and we had built a relationship with him, it really was like he died. On the other hand, one of my friends from high school was in a similar situation as Jeremy, and reading that brought up memories of that event. But, in the context of the story, I think that we have invested so much time with Sean, and we have also invested 5 chapters with the new Sean, that the "new" Sean's "death" was a bit harder hitting for me... >>>Ikaika

Another great chapter DK! I honestly fell for the loosing the memories thing! But I'm very curious about the coma thing! How did that happen? I am also glad that Davey's father is taking this so well! I hoe he continues to do so! That said, I'm a little worried about his political ambition... Would he use his son to win an election... or as a bargaining tool? And thanks again for reconsidering your decision.

This news really makes me sad. Dan, You are an extremely talented writer, who gives inspiration through his stories. I can understand what you are going through, I left the internet for almost a year because of something that was said over a chat. But, I grew to miss the friends I had, and the memories that we shared. Your stories are great, and your insights into how and why you write are also very interesting. I am thinking it was a dream.... and a great April Fool's Day joke... just to f**k with us readers!

This is truly a bittersweet moment for me. The ending, as far as I'm concerned was perfect. I would like an epilogue, just to see how exactly this timeline ends, and also to see the contents of the letter that was sent to Sean. But, I realize that some things are better left to the reader's imaginations. I discovered this series about a year ago on the nifty archives. It was around Chapter 15 of the first DO, and I read those 15 chapters in one weekend. Since I first found them, I hounded this site, waiting for the next DO or DOR to come out. After DO, I was very happy. When DOR first started, I wanted to kill DK! I couldn't believe what he put Davey through. But, I'm glad that he did. Davey, his family and his friends have earned their happy endings. I really wish this story wasn't ending. But, I am also glad that it is. And most of all, I wish to thank DK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can't believe the effort that you have put into writing this story. Like I said in a comment, I think this should be published, but also hope that it can be shared forever on the internet. People can truly make a positive difference in their own and in other's lives, if they only try... but having a DO machine also helps! Thank you again DK! And may you continue to write stories like this. Well, not exactly like this, cause that would be boring, but, well, stories that are imaginative, fantastic, romantic, and all around good reads! >>>Ikaika

I have honestly found this series to be one of the best that I have ever read. This saga is touching and deals with so many things found in both reality and in fantasy. That said, I honestly hope that things work out for Davey in the end! I want him to end up with Brian and to have his happily ever after and the world to be a great place and yeah, I just want the happy ending!!! Thanks DK!
