Some here may have read it, Gone From Darkness.... I figured I'd try it out, seeing as a friend of mine will be doing it soon, and I thought it would be good to let him know how it works. Check it out, buy a copy, or not, (kindle for windows and mac can be used for non-kindle users) and if you've read it, feel free to leave a nice review! Thanks! :-) Gone From Darkness on Kindle

This is a short story (couple pages) which was a challenge given by Bardeara. The Title belongs to him, but the content is all mine. It's about the worries and joys of meeting a new potential mate.

My palms were sweaty and my heart was beating so fast, it felt as though it would burst from my chest at any moment. I bounced my left knee up and down repeatedly in nervous anticipation. I bit my lower lip and wondered just what would happen that night. My best friend Jenn, whom I met last year, in the ninth grade, set me up with Alex, a boy she thought I’d like. Jenn had become my personal “fag hag,” as some might call her. It was nice to talk to someone about a subject I was very nervous a

Just yesterday, his life was simpler Played all day without a care in the world Made forts in the snow Played pranks on the neighborhood kids Couldn't dream of anything more exciting Made life hell for his mother Who, try as she might, couldn't find it in her to respond in any other manner but unconditional love But today, a new world awakens Feeling those warm, tingly sensations in his most private area Yesterday, a means for necessity, today a means for undiscovered pleasure

The Day the Tables Turned By BWCTwriter Part Four I waited. I waited for the forceful shove of Kyle’s hand toward my chest. I waited for the painful stab of the razor-sharp blade as it pierced and dug through each layer of skin and muscle until it finally reached my heart. I waited still to feel my warm blood as it gushed forth from my heart. I waited for my thoughts to fade from my mind, my senses to dull and decrease to nothing as the blood was unable to reach my brain. I wa

The Day the Tables Turned By BWCTwriter Part Three I’d been wise and steered clear of Kyle’s dad when he arrived home that evening. In what I discovered to be his normal routine, he trudged into the kitchen, grabbed his six-pack of Budweiser, sat down in front of the television, ate a TV dinner, got drunk, and passed out while watching some barbaric sporting event. I despised him, and would never let my own life disintegrate into such a pathetic state, though it appeared

The Day the Tables Turned By BWCTwriter Part Two * * * * * I didn’t give much thought to my surroundings as I woke up and climbed out of bed the following morning. I didn’t notice the rearranged furniture. I hadn’t really registered the strange grunge rock posters I saw plastered all over the wall. I didn’t care to look at the ratty clothes that lay strewn about. I didn’t pick up the smoky scent of marijuana that permeated the room. In my sleepy haze, the only thing that matte

When Fenton, a scrawny fourteen year old who had been bullied for the past two years of grade school, is at the end of his rope, he makes a wish to have a chance to be the one with the upper hand for once. He didn't understand the power of his wish, nor the danger that could come of it. When he gets his chance at being the Alpha Male, he finds himself falling prey to the same temptations as his abusers, taking things to a level even he thought he'd never reach.

The Day the Tables Turned By BWCTwriter Part One * * * * * “Don’t judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.” -An old Cherokee saying I wish I knew what I’d ever done to piss off Kyle Hart. We’d been classmates since the fifth grade, when I moved to the small Iowa town of Mason City from a suburb of southern New Jersey. We got along okay, although we were never the best of friends. He’d say “Hi” to me every once in a while as we passed in the halls. O

Boy, was this story fun to write! I thought I might write an afterword to explain to my readers what's next. When I first wrote this story, I was certain that it was destined to be a short story. I was right; this part of the story was written just right. A little explanation of the "theme" of the story might be in order here. Though I am a Christian, I tried to stay away from blatantly Christian writing. I think I succeeded because, to be honest, the God of the Christian Bibl

During one particular act of lovemaking when we were sixteen, Luke and I had a most unexpected encounter. I was at home alone on a rainy summer afternoon, happy to have a few hours to share with my boyfriend. Alone time was hard to find, amidst the countless days we were forced to hide our feelings for each other. It was 8:30 in the morning. My mother left for work about fifteen minutes prior, and my father had left at 7am. We were certain to have the house all to ourselves until at lea

I've recently started a new web hosting company, and I'd love to take on a few GA.org members... I believe my plans are pretty cheap and generous. I'm going to skip posting a link here, as I'm not trying to spam, but if anyone is looking for a webhost with good addons and such, send me a pm or email. :-)

I awoke to find myself unaware of my location, confused with my surroundings. I found the mere notion that I was puzzled over my situation quite comical. I mean, how could I NOT know who I am, where I am, or where I’m from? That’s just absurd! Why, just a few minutes ago I had been…… Wait a minute….. Where had I been? I don’t remember that either. Who am I for that matter? Ok, let’s calm down here. First thing’s first, find out where I am. I first realized that I was laying on th

Wow, was this story a challenge. I thought the idea of the storyline up a few months ago. I’m not sure why, but the idea just hit me like a sack of potatoes, and I was like “whoa…. Where did that come from?” This was the first time I created something that was not at all based on my own life (other than the use of my name). In previous writings, I always found it difficult to write a new identity for the main character. I never felt “connected” to them, because their p

Agincourt- Thanks for the awesome review! It's nice to see my story get a little attention after all these years.... It's my baby, and to be honest, some day i would love to see it played out in film.... Sadly though, I think it will never come to pass, unless I attempt to create it myself (as if i have the time and skills to do that :-p )... But yeah, Thanks again! -

Message Board Topic For 5/19
BWCTwriter replied to Comsie's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
I think it depends on the piece of writing.... i mean, i can't see a lot of shakespearean writing working in a story like Com's That kind of writing is pretty much reserved for Kooks like Willy S. hehe...... I think a person can write with a certain amount of sophistication without going full into Shakespearean vocabulary (thee's, thou's etc) and pretty much write about anything.... like.... as long as its graceful, sophisticated language can be used in love stories, probably even porn... "Randolph, Thou art erupting with man nectar! Shallst I expell it from my mouth or consume it?" Naw.... it just don't work -
Message Board Topic For 4/14
BWCTwriter replied to Comsie's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
I'd sorta agree that all the "destinations" have been done before.... but each person's "journey" can be different..... I mean lets face it... we're all working off the ole' Intro-rising action-climax-falling action-conclusion storyline..... read enough stories and the end becomes utterly predictable from even 1/3 of the way in :-p... -

This is a kick-arse short story! Very sweet. It's nice to see short stories like this, that are more about the raw emotion and pleasure of a youth's sexual discovery, rather than the longer, drawn out stories that end up dealing more with society's reaction to the love boys share for each other. each has its benefits, but in stories like this, nothing matters but the moment, and that makes this a really sweet story. Well done!
