An email arrived from Thibaud a few weeks after they had returned from France. He was as saucy as ever in his recollection of the time he had spent with Alex and Guy. The real point of the email was that Thibaud had been gossiping with one of his college flames about the sad events of that early December. Thibaud’s friend related a possibly important story. I guess I'm optimistic that there is another relationship waiting right in front of us if we're able to open up to it. In some ways I needed to respond to the misguided hate toward being gay based on ideas no more valid than the ones I suggest in this piece. Thank you for reading.
