A topic no one has lifted is: Do Jame think Milo is gay. Jame's actions get me to believe that he still think that Milo is straight and Jame is protecting Milo in good faith against the evil gay Nelson. Remember that before Milo got to know Nelson and opened up to him - his only confidante was Jame - with the exeption of him beeng gay. Jame knows all about Milos problem with his father and loss of mother and has apparently been a very good support for Milo and hepled him alot - therefor Milo do trust Jame to be a good person. But we know that Milo trust Jame enough to tell him he is gay - that he only trust Nelson to know and very reluctantly. Enter Nelson. I do believe that Jame has a functioning gaydar as straight as he is. And with remeberance of the rumors at Milos old school of Milo being gay and of Milos apparent denial - Jame is doing everything possible to stop any new rumors this time. And what did Jame observe at the big fiasco in the morning? Boze and lube in the hands of the evil gay molester Nelson. Everything was clear for straight protective Jame - Nelson trying to get innocent straight Milo drunk and then molesting him when he couldn't protect himself. We all know that that is what every gay male want to do - don't we. So in James book the best way to protect Milo and his reputation is to make Nelson into that evil person. And in this little town it's really easy to do.

[dkstories] Rich Boy:Growing Pains
Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I think he meddled with Kyle with the result that Kyle accidently killed his own family. And now trying to use Kyles relatives to gain control over Kyle - maybe trying to use Kyle as the tool that Worthington knew is possible fo a Dark mage. Hmm.... this was a tricky one "First a price for the path you walk". Was it to be true to his nature? And there is more to be true to than just to be gay. I think that to be of any value for The light to give a mage its powers you have to be more good than bad. And some 'baddies' will never get The Light how true they ever will. And this is a price for the rest of your life. Will The Light set up the same demand of sacrifice to all that want to walk The Gray path? And maybe say that his true nature is not good enough? Actually I wrote 'walk The Gay path' first before correcting it. I do wonder what type of magic that would be? So what price will it be - and when do we know. As for the chapter. Always we get to see surprising turns. It can't be easy to train somone that is as powerful as yourself. And to get him levelheaded at the same time. And both beeing teenagers. And another evil cliffhanger - now we really need a midweek update. Maybe I should set a spell on Dan :2hands: -
[dkstories] Rich Boy:Growing Pains
Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Well this cliffhanger I can live with for a week. I do think that Brandon will survive whith the help of the Light healing powers. Now Worthington has done a lasting deal with the Light for him, Jamie and their followers. The sacrifice of dream - I think - is to not to be able to use all type of dark magic. He has already felt the restraint to kill without very good causes. Now I think he and his followers has to give up bonding with channels. So he will not be able to use Brandon as he have up to now. Maybe he can use Brandon as Jamie can use Carl. And maybe he has to give up all dark magic that includes using blood from others or a--**;;ing to contol them. That would be a good sacrifice since it really is no longer possible anyhow as it would not comply with the ethics of the Gray path. Remember Worthingtons discussions with Jamie about this. If they are to be able to set a consistent Gray path that both of them to follow to full extent - they must be able to use the same Dark magic and renounce the same Dark magic - otherwise they would not be the same sort of Gray mages. The other price - for this particular spell is harder to guess. It seems to be a greater sacrifice than to be on a camp for poor kids. He seems to be rather good in making deals anyhow. Look at all the deals with the dwarves. Worthington is already on his way from the old Sinclair way of total control of everything and everyone to a path of trust and respect for everything and everyone. -
Actually it ended really good methinks. All the boys get each other and will have a good life from the start without any misunderstandings. They have all relived their lifes and every pair has had an equal amount of hard times which make them level with each other. They get their families sorted out. And as I have said before - We live in the best of worlds that is possible. That is - any other timeline is worse than this untampered time we live in now. Now let this GOOD story go to a well deserved rest and turn to Dans ongoing and coming stories with the greatest expectations and interrest.

[dkstories] Rich Boy - Chapter 15 is up
Ratatosk replied to Ratatosk's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Well thanks, but it's one hour past midnight here in Stockholm and have a lot of sleepdebt accumulated over the past week. And I think I will sleep well after this - no cliffhangers. But we seems to have a start in build up for the next round of cliffhangers in the coming chapters. Worthington et al hunting down summoners and deamons. Hmm whats all that noise over there?? Ahh it's my bed doing the summoning Good night to you all... -
Yeah its up - my beautysleep has to wait for a while

[dkstories] Rich Boy - Growing Pains
Ratatosk replied to Orrock's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
So it seems there might be an Government path in the coming - as they have an adept in the lead. But why has he not been known by mage society? Is it possible to become an adept without help by anybody else? But he seems to be very careless by letting thousands of mundanes know about these doings, and by accepting summoning of demons :mace: :nuke: On top of that we have rouge mages summoning demons far more spread than we thought before. We live in interesting times - as someone said once. -
[dkstories] Rich Boy - I need someone's help...
Ratatosk replied to dkstories's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
If Darkfoxprime is not one of your betareaders he must have some sort of premonitions power. Now I understand the logo. The logo really gets the essence of the story - the making of the Grey path as seen between Worthington's and Jamie's hands. As of your schedule of it's nice to see, but please put your family up front as I can see how much you care for them. Your familys wellbeing is more important than we getting our weekly satisfaction. So noone bugging Dan about more stories - we know they are there and coming in due time. -
[dkstories] Souls in Rich Boy?
Ratatosk replied to Demetz's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
If the souls could live after the death of the body I think we would have seen a veeeeeeery pissed off father Sinclair. :nuke: Imagine him seeing both his his sons veering of the familys path of Dark magic! So much for getting an extra insurance. -
[dkstories] Rich Boy:Growing Pains
Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Ahh hmmm where is all the 4th of July fireworks ?? Is this what we get out of Gray magic? A few sparks... Yes. it was powerful and mature but without much gusto! I don't want to sound ungrateful but I had hoped for more fight :mace: and see Wothington on the ground before he fought back and won (with or without the help of lokal elves and dwarves). Ahh right, so what's up. Is Worthington and Jamie maturing too fast? Or is it really something special about Gray magic thats not to be found in White or Dark magic? I don't think we have met Colin's Channel yet. And will Coling find any interest in the Gray path? So now that the elves and dwarves are into this fight lets hope next fight will sparkle in all of the colours of the rainbow. Wonder how confused the Government mages will be of the elf magic in the sleeping soldier. -

Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Could there be a third gang of mages using the government for their own purposes? How could the president be shure he is not controlled by the mages when he gives his executive orders? Finally - can't Worthington get thru a message to the dwarfs - they live underground and far out back don't they? Maybe sending a message thru the ground to the nearest dwelling. Ultimo - More More More -
[dkstories] Rich Boy:Awakening
Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Aren't Jamie and Brandon bound to Michael (the binding being accomplished by different means)? Perhaps the one not yet bound is Colin; he is not yet fully trained. Jamie may resist that when awake, when a little of the Light still shines through. My question: What are the candidates for that Byron Jones is bringing? Well look at this: -
[dkstories] Rich Boy:Awakening
Ratatosk replied to MikeL's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Well Dan of cause . Well we found out that the 'light' had an quasi intelligence but I think it stops there. Its still in the power of humankind (with or without extra powers) to make the future with the ways and means at hand. But the important question is - where is chapter 29 we were promised earlier !!! I want quantity - the more of Dan's stories the better. :read: Ahh well it was a nice and restfull ending with a summer and blue skies. -
[dkstories] Let's Do It Chapter 19!

And imagine incoming president Bush Sr. This time he doesn't have two gay kids but six of them. He's so gonna love it. NOT! -
[dkstories] Let's Do It Chapter 19!
Ratatosk replied to NaperVic's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Same same But all these Do overs really confirms my belief that as from Leibniz: Well I don't believe in God but I do think that we live in the best of worlds. Dan's boys tries to best this best of worlds and seems to fail in the end whatever they do. Running away under a bombardment of rotten tomatoes - please understand that I do love Dan's stories and respect those who believe in God. -
[dkstories] Brian's intentions
Ratatosk replied to eliotmoore's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
First: I think it is all about stop looking backward of what was and instead start looking forward of what can be but checking up history for guidance of what not to do. Second: Trust that the mainstream of people in other parts of the world are like us in the western world who want to live a pleasent life with a nice government that don't interfere with us more than necessary. Terorism strive on old glory and extremism. Europe would be full of terrorists if we all thought like the Serbians and Usama Bin Laden. There would be terrorists in southern Sweden trying to get the southern province back to Denmark, there would be swedes in Finland trying to get Finland back to Sweden. Terrorist i Alsace-Lorraine trying to get Elsass-Lothringen back to Germany as well in Silesia, Pommerania and Preussen The Austrians and Ungarians would be fighting all over eastern Europe. There would be attempts to recreate Burgundy in Southern France. The italians would be all over Europe claiming it to be all theirs when they were not fighting each others when recreating the italian citystates. And then I haventt mentioned half of the possible conflicts of what could be. And not to talk of all religious fights there would be (don't forget the 30-year war in the 17:th century) if we let our christian zealots loose all over the place. The 30-year war got us stright on the religious matters and and one of the legacies of Hitler is that we stopped look at old glory. Thus the European Union. So don't meddle in internal conflicts. Support people with a democratic sense and skip the "strong" people. The mainstream of people in a country are as capable as we in solving their problems as long they who have a democratic sence has a say in it. Jumping off the soap box. :graduated: -
[Topher_Lydon] Balance of Judgement - Update
Ratatosk replied to Bester's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Ahhhh..... Time to start check up the first two books and then reread The Lions Pride. Then.... The Balance of Judgement vill be ready ehhh Christopher... please??? Love you Christopher and Bester -
Well in fact it's like this So now we know that there will be another and propably even more devilish cliffhanger than the last in 'The Lions Pride'. Even if Chris from the beginning was talking of three books for the Falcon Banner series I was really happy to see that there would be a fourth book (well exept for another cliffhanger obviously ). Because I really enjoy reading his books and the more of them the better. So to know there will be a fifth (and final?) book - well hurray
