  1. Meet The Penguin I hadn’t planned it that way, but the store where I worked provided me with a pretty active dating scene. A teenager has needs and therefore he dates. By the end of my college freshman year, I had two short-term relationships through the store. My first girlfriend, Sue, was pretty and had a decent body, but she was not much of a talker. She had no opinions, no hobbies, and not much to contribute, except she was pretty. She was about an 8 (on a 1 to 10 scale), but tha
  2. My Situation The year was 1997, my sophomore year of college, and I was living on campus in a dorm. I had purposely selected to live in a low-rise building because the high-rise towers had a reputation for round-the-clock partying. Of course, that wasn’t 100% true, but that was the perception. The low-rise dorm I lived in had its share of partying, but at least it was confined to weekends, so we could actually get schoolwork done during the week. The towers were more crowded with les
  3. It's A Boy's World Truth be told I always had a thing for boys ever since elementary school. No, not like that. It was all a part of making friends. You have to like your friends, right? So that’s what I'm getting at. But before the end of my middle school years, I had developed a boy crush, although I didn’t recognize it as such at the time. I just figured if I found a boy to be attractive, then I wanted to be his friend, or perhaps I wanted to be him. I hadn’t quite figured it out ye
  4. The semi-autobiographical story of a straight college boy named Matt who realizes he's not so straight when he crosses paths with a gay high school boy named Parker...
  5. I have an update on Tristan Strangebrew and his story A Rent Boy Named... I had been working on the editing of RB with Tristan for over two years and it was finally completed. Then the incident with the religious zealots happened, then he was having trouble finding employment, he moved, his health declined, and he became homeless. His last email with me said: I like the edited version so much better. I think it has better rhythm and empathy. Since I may have to go underground for a while, I want you to have it for safe keeping in case I lose stuff into the great void. You've been a great help through times tougher than I've let on. I'm sick and have been for nearly a year. I have chronic depression and fibromyalgia. I'm in pain 24/7 and I'm living on 3 hours sleep on a good night. I'm weary and tired of fighting. I'm out of money and instead of waiting to be evicted I'm going to shed belongings, put my life in my pocket, and head out for who knows where. Let's all hope he gets the health care he needs and finds a place to live. The thing that he gave me for safe keeping is all of the original files for A Rent Boy Named... Since I have all the edits, I'll just incorporate them into the files and post the story the way it was intended to be read. Including the new chapters never posted before. We talked about changing the title because 1) having "rent boy" in the title incensed a whole bunch of religious types, so let's not go there again AND 2) because the rent boy topic is such a minor part of the story anyhow. Therefore the new title is: The Boys of Sunset and it can be found here: https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1917025536551724116#allpages I will add chapters as I have them completed. Again it is the original story with all of the edits incorporated that we worked on for 2 plus years. Enjoy!
