Robert, I really like both stories -- "Joe the Welder" and "Landfall". Two things particularly appeal to me about your writing. You have an ability to develop characters fully in a gentle easy way that makes the reader identify with them and care about them. Presenting those characters as full, well-rounded people includes presenting their sexuality as a part of their character. You do write sex scenes incredibly well, but you are also able to capture the characters' sexual energy. That can be very difficult. The other thing that I really love about your writing is the easy, conversational flow. It makes for a wonderful read. I loved "Joe the Welder" and I am loving "Landfall". I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

Excellent chapter. I like the conversational flow and the way that these characters are introduced and developed. I look forward to reading more.
