Sounds like fun, we're not lucky enough to have those around down here (that I've heard of) but it sounds good. We had a family gathering for my birthday, my sister and brother and a bunch of nieces and nephews, along with my mom. It was a lot of fun hanging out with everyone. My brother just got remarried this last week, and his new wife has two twin 8-year-old boys. I spent a bunch of time hanging out with one of them, wrestling over this warp ball thing that he brought. I got to be the fun uncle again.

No it just makes you hardcore. I'm reminded of the restaurant I ate at in Cozumel on my first trip to the Caribbean, when I was just 9-years-old. It was definitely a tourist trap of a place, and every table had a bottle of tequila on it. Each bottle had a tag (written in English) that said "Get drunk, be a man." Even at nine I was like WTF? I saw your explanation about the hat, that was how I ended up with a Destin, Florida hat. Your had is cooler though.
