    Well in this case whoever joined the competition had to have enough money to buy the restaurant, so I guess “inherit” is the wrong term. Mostly, the owner was trying to get money to pay for his mentor’s medical bills. Besides being really, really good chefs they couldn’t have any affiliation with a particular developer. It was still an active, running restaurant, so all those codes, etc. would be taken care of off screen.

    It’s the title of the drama, it’s hard to explain in detail but essentially there’s a competition to inherit a restaurant that specifically serves dishes that don’t have long beans in them.

    Bad news Pagey, I've seen almost all of those, sadly I didn't enjoy most of them enough to finish except Dare You to Death, but even that one, that pairing has done much better in their previous series. I hated Pit Babe, and lost interest in Goddess Bless You From Death, though oddly enough it had the same lead pairing. The Red Envelope was more a gay-themed story than an actual BL. I gave Love Like a Bike a pass.
