  1. Did someone call for an assassin?
  2. Although I'm not Dabeagle, Ryan was a personal friend of mine as well, and I've read a great deal of his work. If I may also offer a recommendation I would steer you toward the Sanitaria Springs collection of stories which Ryan was a prime contributor to. Sanitaria Spings is a small town used as a setting for a group of authors, and Ryan and I used to joke about how his car broke down in town and he was forced to stay there. He's written a considerable number of stories set in that town, and I think you'd enjoy them.
  3. A warm welcome to all three of you.
  4. My sensei invested time in teaching me how to slip them. The person below me knows martial arts.
  5. I believe most people have been cut once or twice in their lives, and usually it hasn't been dependent upon gender. Or are you asking if I've ever sustained injury in a knife fight? The answer to that would certainly be yes. New Q: If you were a punctuation mark, what would you be?
  6. I joined a Japanese Culture Club and was one of the few who was disappointed that all we did was watch anime... Same Q
  7. I actually thought I had diverticulitis for the last little while, but it turned out to be something less serious. Abdominal region still hurts though. The person below me has never broken a bone.
  8. I don't really watch TV, but I am looking forward to season 2 of Marco Polo on Netflix in January. Same Q
  9. Only one of my missionaries knew the truth at the end, and he only found out a couple of weeks before I went home. This experience happened toward the end of my two years of service. Elder Anderson, whom I had known since nearly the beginning of my mission. (He left only six weeks after I did) Tried to encourage me to pray and read my scriptures to regain my faith, but otherwise he was actually very respectful and listened to my situation. He supported me as a friend, and for that I will be forever grateful. Oh, and just to clarify as I'm sure I didn't make it as clear as I could, I'm not an atheist myself, I'm actually Taoist. Thanks for sharing your own experience as well.

Thank you. I believe in making grief public. I know this is not a common viewpoint, but I have my reasons for it. I think that the only way we can overcome grief is by putting it out there. My evidence for this is that bottling it up has only ever caused me harm. Thanks for reading.

    Thank you. Life goes on.
  14. I'd say your descriptions of the characters are spot on. Thank you for posting this. While I've tried to think of a way to sum up the characters' personalities, like a synopsis I always seem to fall short. This is beautifully put together and seems to fit what I had just fine. I'd like to say that I'll keep you guessing, but this was written very differently than most of my past works, and so I'm not sure I'll live up to expectations.
  15. We called him ‘Strange Alcohol’. It was a direct translation of his name, when read by a student of the language who was not native to the script. We thought ourselves witty, for the man had strange ideas which we often mocked to remind ourselves of the wisdom we had acquired. What boy at twenty knows the state of things? We certainly thought we did. We had been raised in the one true religion; our parents had taught us the truth since we were old enough to understand words. The wealth of e

  17. Thank goodness, no. I wouldn't see any until Youtube starts showing them, though. I don't watch anything anywhere else that has commercials. The person below me is ready for Winter to be over when it hasn't even begun.
  18. I think I'd choose my best friend. Mainly because I know he'd be perfectly fine being the last person on Earth, and so I wouldn't feel bad when I kicked the bucket. New Question: What is your favorite type of weather?
  19. Great topic. Would it be too forward to ask for ideas regarding responding to reviews on this topic, or should I start my own? I was just thinking about doing one of those last night. I often don't know what to say in response to reviews, and I feel like my responses sometimes come off as monotonous.
  20. I showed up just in time. Yep. I open in the morning at 5:15 am, and I'm still awake at 10:45 pm. The person below me is pulling an all-nighter.
  21. By the time Jason and Chris returned to the room, Gary had made up his mind not to tell them what had happened. Having been forced to change his pants and garment bottoms, and not wanting to undress in front of Luke after what had happened between them, he’d decided it was better to go and change in the shower instead. The heat of the water had slowly calmed him down until he was relaxed enough to think over what had transpired between him and Luke. He realized he couldn’t deny how he felt a
  22. Is there any other way to swim? The person below me has dreamed of being in the Olympics before.
  23. Is there any other way to sleep? The person below me would be a nudist.(provided they are/were comfortable with their body)
