Reguarding Wolfs I don't want to see die, maybe I'll give you a list why ? 1. *Prime* - I like him, but he's not my favourite. However, he's the Alfa, and I've not read anything on a possible substitution. Whatever you are setting up, I believe there's a big BIG battle ahead, and while the Inner Circle would follow Colt, the outher wolves would not... Unless they are led to battle by what's his name? the new Alfa from Prime's old pack? 2. *Brian* - He's sweet, one of my favorite charactes... Maybe he is fast enough to not get killed ? 3. *CE* - I realy REALY like CE. He is my favourite. Please don't kill him. If you do, make it count, something Epic and heroic that saves the pack, pretty please? 4. *Sam* - I like sam, he's the lost puppy (ok maybe because we "watched" him since he was kicked around. I always looked at his petition to join the pack as last effort before suicide, as a lone an soon to be dead wolf) 5. *Isaac* - Again, I like him, but if he was gone I wouldn't miss much. 6. *Leo* - Now Leo I like, he's the aloof geek. And yeah, he saved Colt's life, but I think he still has something to do for the pack (don't know why, just a hunch) 7. *Al* - Al will probably be necessary due to his ability to smell Queens. Personaly, I would like to see him be given the chance to do something for tha pack. That talk he had with Sam was an excelet chapter, but I want to see more. 8. *Warren* - He's a new CE, a cuddly bear. «little boy voice»can I keep him mom?«/little boy voice» However, the other ranting showed Colt facing whatever, accompanied by Prime, Brian and CE... Was it just me who had the impression that even those three were dead, and had a moral support part, nothing more? Equi

ummm... siblings? have I missed something? :grin: Ok, we don't know what happened in his childhood. Maybe it traumatised him, made him suspect everyone. And these two chapters just "confirmed" his previous preconceptions, but still... That just reinforces my case. There is nothig special about "true love". And Colt should not expect something "metaphisical" about it. Meaning, it's impossible to distinguish from "chemical love". Meaning it's the same. I can't undestant it... Maybe it's because I'm not INTJ ? If I was Colt. I would accept it and enjoy it while it lasted. As for the near death episode, I read it as showing what he could loose if he didn't grab on; took a leap of faith, Yeah, it was either loose them or be bonded to them. If he already had feelings for them, so what? As for CE, yes I believe there is some pleasure int the sex itself, but more for the pleasing his Meta, or better yet, submiting to his Meta's wishes. Like the Gym sex scene, when Colt orders him to hold the wheight while he fucks him. It seems to me like CE enjoyed it more then if it was more valina. Equi

Hey everybody, just came back from vacation, and read the lastest chapter... Disapointment is the biggest feeling I'm left with. I'm disapointed in Colt, still strugling with the whole "true love" vs "chemical love". Even if it is 100% chemical, and even If his wolves stop beeing forced to "love" him eventualy. So? All good things must come to an end. Does he expect to live "happily ever after"? Doesn't he expect to grow old, weak and die? No love is certain. However, I'm more disapointed in Prime he knew from the begining, and never told Colt? Why? He was affraid Colt would abbandon him / the pack? Considering Colt is a smart guy, it was only a matter of time until he learnd of it. If it wasn't Leo, it would have been someone else. Probably an enemy. If the effect is so pronounced that Prime was sure of it from his first "dose", then every other wolf felt it too. Including CE (probably my favorite wolf). The only way I see for CE to keep this secret was if Prime ORDERED him to. Realy Sh###ty thing to do. GAAAA, of to read the prompt, maybe it'l cheer me up! Equi

The purity thing must be something else... From what they said, most / all of them have tried to... do stuff, and it was probably their wolves who stoped it. It's clear, when Isaac tries to grab his hardon, and his hand turns into a paw. Another thing, if the most esteemed author's ( lol ) intent for the "purity thing" was already known then when Isaac came back, pure, after Colt asked his wolf to police him, then he would have done the same thing to his other wolves, and they would not be wearing the cage anymore. Yes Colt likes the control and power they represent, but if everything was settled about it, they would not need it. As to the "why the wolves were pure when they met Colt", one possibility is the wolves knew they were special, they would meet a Meta, they would have need to be pure for him, and maybe, they would fight the big figth (whatever is in the future) and/or be involved with the pack that did. Maybe, don't like it much... I'm rather partial to the "inevitability of the very improbable" world view. As in, it is very improbable that I will win the lottery, but, if I buy a ticket every week, and I live forever, then it is inevitable that I will win. Meaning, these wolves are not the only ones with this "type" of mission. And Colt is not the only one who could become the Meta. They were only the first ones put togheter, with a little help from Betsy and co. Equi

First, I believe the wolves do love him, maybe he isn't sure about it, but, can you ever be trully, 110% sure of anythig? Everything they have said and done, I believe is enough, more than realy. Second, addiction. For I don't realy know how long, he's been living with his wolves, with a permanent erection, and as he "said", whenever he gets hard, they get hopefull, HE DECIDES wether he has sex, and if he doesn't want it, the "gentelmanly (?) ignore it" he said it, i believe a few chapters after Sam joining. Each and every one of them is fisicaly stronger then him, however, they have always submited to him, whenever, however he wants it. What I mean to say is, yes, they are addicted, but TO HIM, not his semen. Besides, the real reason his wolves are getting XXXXL is different, and if it wasn't for Colt's insecurities, he would have already figured it out . . «spoiler alert!!» . . . . HIS wolves are getting bigger, because WANTS THEM TO BE! Realy, the first ceremony, when only Prime had Colt's "roids" (I like that euphemism) two times(?) and only orally, all of the three wolves shifted back hairless, and bowlegged. Just like Colt wants them to be. His wolves will do and be everything he wants. Equi

Hey guys and gals! Is it Q&A time ? Something i've wondered for a very long time... We know Betsy "helped" this pack to get together, but I wonder wether she knew PrimeBrian/CE/Etc. would be Colt's pack, or did she make them become his pack (drugs, potions, etc...) Personaly, I think she somehow knew, at least some of these wolves would be part of this pack, namely Isaac, when the pack visited her, she expected Isaac to be the fourth wolf, not Sam. So, she didn't know either by sight... If that is the case, how can she know it? So far, beyond Colt's threded bracelet (and Wolves and Vapires) there are no hint towards magic / futuroligy... Equi

Maybe Mean is not the right word... I like Puppilull's comment «Power Trip», that sometimes can go beyond what was originaly intended (by Colt). What I ment to say was, even in those times, I immagined Colt with a smile on his face, as in "just kidding". This in the scenes where Colt bosses his wolves, not the phisical / sex scenes. They can easily handle everything he can throw at them. Colt did want to try it with Prime: And yes, I do believe that if Prime hadn't run away Colt would have satisfied his curiosity... Or maybe something in him would stop him at the last moment, Colt isn't a "regular" human (besides the part vampire thing). It is a prety nice coincidence, although I only noticed it after my meat typo. Equi
