It was nine in the morning when a doctor came and told us that the Ambassador was awake and could go and see him. I'm not sure if there is answer or if we will ever find one. It seems death by someone else's hand is a very old occurrence. Greed and jealously probably plays an important part as well as religious zeal and hypocrisy. A desire for notoriety and low self-esteem also plays a role.

At the first full dinner of the Knights of the Round Table, we had the Knights pick their Squires. Then we had the reading of the Oath. We handed out the squire pins and discussed the rules of the Pub. Some of the Knights asked if we could have more choices of snacks in the pub. One of them suggested we move the coin machines to the pub. I thought that would detract from the theme of the pub, they agreed. Maybe we could offer hot chocolate in a replicated mug of 1600. I enrolled Franz in the Academy, and I spent extra time with him, bringing him up to speed. I found once I pointed him in a direction, he took off running. The problem was there were a lot of directions. Marie and I provided tutoring. He was a bright lad who didn’t have the schooling to compete with the other 12-year-old students. Adam and Marie will do everything they can to replace the loss Franz felt when his mother passed. But they can not replace her in his heart even as he develops a love for them as part of their family. The heart has many chambers, one will be occupied by his mother.

We had one month of working out before we had to return for school. Hans would then take over the training. Franz would stay with Marie and me as our son. We stayed at the cabin for that month which meant runs around the lake. We weren’t alone. Some of the staff from the school were there, which let us catch up a little and do some planning for the school year. A lot of fishing was done, as well as running. Billy borrowed Dad’s car and went home to bring Susanna and Buster up to the cabin.

Yes, in real life you are probably right. I have read that chemical castration has been used in the US. I have a personal belief about the clergy. Molestation of any kind by any one in a position that would pressure a child to participate, should be severely punished.
