In Adam's mind every boy in the Academy and College is his son. That is the way he treats them and as such, he will follow them where ever they are and if they need help, he will be there

No, there are three things that are designed to prevent this. Classes are small, Teachers are required to read his book and his kiosks where he teaches students that need help. Instructors have PhD's and have been hand picked.

I have given some thought to your comment about apprenticeship/journeyman analogy. Isn't that what all schools should be doing? Adam's cause, to quote a cliche you hear today, no student left behind. To ascribe to that, you need to read Adam's book.

I’m amazed at what people see and never see what is behind the act. Boys react to me because of how I treat them, how I go to battle for them, listen to them, and help them develop into fine men. I give them tokens to remind them of where they have been and what lies ahead. I am their confidant, and besides being their teacher, I am their friend. I am glad you like this story. Adam said you could be one of his boys, if you so desire. When one puts aside pride and selfishness and concentrate making other people feeling good, it changes the life of both.
