    Chapter 1

When I was in college my roommate was a very bright young man. We hit it off and became friends as well as study mates. One day, we were in our room studying, door locked, we didn’t want to be disturbed when someone pushed on the door and the door flew open. “These rooms aren’t secure.” With that comment, Lee and I decided we’d develop an alarm system that would not only alarm when someone entered our room but also record all the activity. The result was a complicated alarm sy

    Prologue

“Jim, have all of the arrangements been made for next week?” “Yes, Chaz, I have reserved three rooms and the conference room. I think Dave was planning on going down on Friday night and Pete said he might go as well.” “That’ll depend if Sarah’s folks can mind the kids.” “You aren’t going, Chaz?” “Yes, I’ll be there. Why did you think I won’t be there?” “Jim hasn’t reserved a room for you.” “I’ll be staying at my cottage.” “Your cottage?” “Yes, I own a cott

    Chapter 23

Yes, she isolated herself, wasn't at her parents funeral. didn't connect with her parents when they took Jim in. How screwed up she was, religion of a false god overtook her common sensibilities. I feel sorry for people who are so bitter that they miss out on a life of happiness. Take cafe my friend, let love and forgiveness rule your life.

    Chapter 23

Like many things, the shack has a special meaning to them, they will never change it nor live anywhere else. They have memories tied to that place that can't be fireplaces but there they can be recreated. True, a lot of those that made it buyback in the 70's. 80's are still putting out records and doing tours, but they don't have the love Jim and Tony have.

    Chapter 23

The trip to London was fantastic. Tony did 4 shows in London, then 3 shows in Scotland ending with 4 shows in Ireland. John Harkins, the impresario, had invited some of his cohorts from other countries to the London concerts. At the end of the Ireland tour, John approached us with a proposition. He'd put together a European tour that would last 45 days. He'd handle all the arrangements and all we had to do was perform. I asked him to put that into a contract and send it to me. I told T

Yes most of the time, most is the key word in that statement. It is a matter of love and devotion, two minds walking the same path . Good things own the future

    Chapter 22

Jim has turned out to be a smart agent for Tony. I thought the Paris trick was very effective.
  21. CLJobe

    Chapter 22

He didn't know about the vacation trip and Tony hadn't done any tours in the US except for hospital visits. So being the agent being out of the loop for about a year, I guess he thought Tony would be hungry and he would provide dinner. Someone said they saw him going down the street kicking himself.

    Chapter 22

Our first big break came from London, a gentleman who booked acts into one of the prestigious music halls wanted to know if we would be interested in doing a concert. I wrote back indicating we would be interested, please send a contract for our review. The contract arrived 2 weeks later. The terms were simple; we'd be guaranteed 5000 dollars plus expenses for a 2-hour show with a provision that we'd be paid 500 dollars for 15-minute intervals over the 2 hours. If there is a demand for a se

    Chapter 21

Corporatew greed hs always been laid at the feet of stockholders. But I think that is an excuse to pass the buck. Our stock holders demand and yet I never have read anywhere when I stock holder had demanded anything.

    Chapter 21

That would be a great idea. I'll pass it on to Jim
