I am sure you have a lot of tales to tell. When I lived in Floridas there was a gay men chorus, they allowed me to turn the pages, I can't carry a tune, so singing was out if the question. Had a friend who was part of a traveling cast of players, he had some interesting tales to tell.

IMaybe I should have read that story before I wrote mine. I would guess the author either knew someone or had done some exhaustive research.

About 6 months before Tony would have graduated, the contracts and the pressure to sign began. Tony just told them to send the contracts to me. I think this irked them to no end. They would bombard Tony with all kinds of promises but somehow these promises never showed up in the contract. I only knew a few words in Brazilian. When there I spoke Spanish in they didn't understand my English. I was thinking of moving there in he early 2000. Knew a lot of Brazillians when I lived in Florida

The tour went exceeding well. Tony appeared on several radio stations, plugging his music, did a few local television shows and he did something else that showed a special side of Tony. In every city were we went, Tony visited the children's hospital with his guitar and played music for them. He had sing-a-longs, took requests and his favorite was to take one of the kid's name and make up a song about them. I think Tony became even more popular as a result of doing this. Yes, losing Jim's grandparents was hard on Jim and Tony. I can hear Tony singing under that special Apple tree, tears in the eyes of the boys.
