I'm not sure they will find out about the peeps. Like the boys said there are always peeps. I qm guessing, but if they aren't making sure they get all the eggs, then there will be peeps for sure. I think there were more nd the boys didn't take them all.

Sorry Kev, I forgot to post, but hang in there I'll post tonight. I generally post when I wake up in the morning and after dinner at night. For some reason my mind was distracted and I didn't post. The day before the boys were due back, Uncle Angelo and Luis brought over half a calf and half a pig. Pa had some salt but not enough. Uncle Angelo checked what I had, “I’ll send over some more next week. If you run out, let me know.” I started to clean the carcasses, getting them ready for salting. I think that is exactly what the boys and Charlie told Tony. The horses are use to pulling a circus wagon, those wagons are very large.The price Tony paid was more than he thought but if that circus wasn't in financial trouble, he would have paid more.

Thanks for this information. I'm sure over time changes were made to the house as each "grandfather" took over. I remember my grandfather's home, there wasn't any central heating until I was 14. He had fire places, I used some of that in my story. This story is somewhat an upbeat version of my grandparents home and my personal; interactions with them. I do mask up, received my first inoculation the second scheduled for March 3rd.

Yes, She didn't realize that the boys were a couple. It took a while but she accepted them. I think she will look upon them as adoptive sons.

Two weeks before school was to start, the barn was finished. The boys wanted me to inspect it. I walked inside, they had cleaned the stalls and they had one stall for the chickens. Say what you want about farm boys, but these two knew what to do and how to do it. I had the electricians up grade the electrical system in the garage including the apartment. The new appliances were installed by the boys as well as the furniture for the living room and bedroom. All of the chimneys were cleaned,
