I don't think Pat is crying because of the boat ride. More to do with the discussion concerning adoption. Pat would like nothing better to be Brad's son. He was the first at Sanctuary

Yes and we know why. If I had my way,. I put that crew in barrels, seal them shut and drop them overboard.

Actually I expect Brad to change his mind some what as he continues to think about it. Brad's first ideas never get done since the more he thinks about something he changes and it is for the better. So we shall see what the end product looks like and I believe no one will recognize the ship when it is finished.
