    Chapter 19

As we were eating at Aldo’s, “Abe, I need to accelerate the carpentry for the 3rd floor. What do you think about putting a team on 3B and 3C? If one team gets finished before the other team, we still have the amenity areas to finish. I want to get the building finished. Then I can concentrate on the outside and enjoy the inside. Tony will have an office in the new office building, how about you do you want one as well?” “No, I’ll use yours when I need one.” And then he laughed when he saw th

    Chapter 17

This operation was very clinical playing on the 1. naivety of children and 2. luxury beyond their belief. Excellent food, nice clothing, nice place to stay and being pampered by their clients. What they did in exchange for all of this, a cell phone and money, so they thought. How they were recruited wasn't determine. But you can imagine what they were promised when their stomach was empty, clothes were rags, and being afraid on the street.

    Chapter 17

There are people who believe that their rope is so strong, that nothing can cut it. But if they are not careful, it could get snagged and who knows what will happen when they occurs.

    Chapter 18

I think Brad's dad will take care of this. I bet it was a ploy to get the boys back. Stupid? Yes and dumb

    Chapter 18

The trick was that they ha a life of ease. Good food, nice clothes, being waited upon, it's like giving a child a piece of candy to get him/her to do something. As parents we condition our children, 'if you clean up your plate, you can have some ice cream' or 'clean your room before you cn go out to play.' That conditioning was used on these kids.

    Chapter 18

I watched the new people. It was sad to see how they were lied to and deceived. Maybe Sanctuary can help them rebuild their lives. It was 1:30, and we had an appointment at the clinic. “Jeff, we have that appointment at the clinic. Get the patient and meet me at the car.” While we waited for the results, “Why do men do that to a boy? If I fell in love with a boy, I’d want to see them happy, not crying, or being beaten.” “Those men aren’t in love with the boy. They are sick and are in

Yes, it does and that makes it difficult to sort these people out. Many are being protected by those "up the line"

    Chapter 16

Depends on where you live. But here are some suggestions, pack a lunch and give it to a street person, age isn't an issue. Walk through a park in the evening, if you see someone that looks homeless, offer them the lunch. You could volunteer at a soup kitchen. I'm not sure what is available where you live but there are things you can do. Your heart is in the right place and that counts.

    Chapter 17

The next morning, a young boy tapped on my door. I opened it and looked into one of the purest blue eyes I have ever seen. "Good morning, blue eyes. What's the matter?" "I need to go to the bathroom, and I don't know where it is." "You walk toward the stairs, and there are bathrooms on this side," tapping his right arm. He headed off, and then I heard, "Found it." I looked at my watch, and it was 7:30. I must've gotten about four hours of sleep. I got out of my cocoon, took the s

    Chapter 26

I read that story a while back. The canal ride in the canal boat was interesting. I would have like to have done that when I was in England. I think the idea of having a Pub close to the canal was a brilliant business decision. Thanks for reminding me of that story.

    Chapter 16

This is Brad's personal crisis, he knew getting into this that he would be dealing with children, what he didn't realize was the state of health of these children as the result of heartless men. I always wonder why it's the men and not the women. I have never ran across a young boy that was being abused by a woman like they are by a man. I'm sure they exist.

    Chapter 16

Once they age out, unless the foster parents help them, they are on their own. These young men and women are just slightly better than Brad's boys, but society has let them down as well.
