I nave been blessed in that I have traveled extensively in western Europe. No matter where I stayed there were always something new to try. I treasure those trips. They were business trips but also a learning experience for me. I have tried to use those experiences in writing this story.

Returning to the hotel, there was a message from Colin saying they were taking the night flight and would arrive in the morning. I told Mom and I knew she was relieved. Knowing there is a medical issue causing John's behavior takes a lot of guessing out of the equation. I'm not sure who misses Colin more, the boys or Armand.

I am having some medical problems, nothing new to an old man.

That is what Armand's mother said. But there is something magic in making crepes on. grapes griddle. I have only had crepes made on a griddle but using a skillet is a possibility, One difference, with out a grdieele you would need to keep your eye on a crepe made in a frying pan. Using a griddle you would have have even heat acrosss the surface, with a frying pan, depending on size you may not.

I never saw crepes in a cart but did have crepes prepared with fruit. strawberries were the best topped with cream.

That evening Colin called again. John had the beginning of a growth on the left side of his brain. The doctors think they have caught it in time and have given him medication to take. When they all return home, the doctors will remove the growth. On the positive side, John played an excellent round off golf and was in a good mood. Morning seemed to come quickly. I knew I was tired and missing my bed partner guaranteed I didn’t get a good sleep. Dressed for the day, I headed to the boys room. They were still sleeping so I went to the dining room for my morning coffee. Colin’s mom was there by herself. Are you implying that some French tarts have a soggy bottom. The intentions of Colin and Armand is to get Marie to take up residence in the States. I think once Armand see's his surprise, it will be a slam dunk.

Unfortunately people get elected and re-elected until they forget what historically was done. I would bet most of those people on that council. didn't realize they were being paid to handle the affairs of the orphanage. They review the annual budget, by looking at the bottom line, incoming versus outgoing and don't know what these line mean. Term limits takes these incompetents away and if it doesn't people deserve what this get.

The first time I had crepes at a restaurant in New York, the cook was making a crepe with eggs and cheese. They were delicious. I tried to copy with a large skillet, it worked to a degree, like 90 percent abut not quite. After several tries, I realized the secret was a thin egg layer.

Marie has agreed to continue the tour with them. Armand is smart, one thing at a time. I'll bet before the tour isn over she will come home with them.
