We started to walk toward the Spanish Steps. It would take approximately 8-10 minutes to walk to the steps but with me walking with Colin, it’ll take 15 minutes. Walking with Colin is something else. He always finds a way to bump our shoulders. He would bump my shoulder with his, then smile when I look at him. I didn’t mind, the smile and loving eyes was worth it. He became excited as we approached the Fountain. Standing in front of the Fountain, Colin turned and tossed his three coins over his shoulders. “Did you make a wish?” “Yes” “What was your wish?” “If I tell you it might not come true.” “That is an old wives tale.”

I. have completed the chapter. First coin return, second coin find love and third coin marriage. But it makes no difference it is a beautiful fountain. It's sad that we have lost that artistic ability or desire.

Sleep came quickly after doing our exercises. I realized how loving Colin could be after satisfying his architecture interests. I wonder if he realizes that seeing these ancient buildings has sparked his interest in studying architecture. I found it fascinating when I was in Rome, it was like history coming alive. Walking on ground that Caesar walked on. touching building that thousands have touched over the year. If I was a history major, which I'm not, I would spend my summers in Italy and Greece.

Yes he is, I wonder what Ideas he will come up with for Armand to paint. The study of history is suppose to teach us how not to repeat the errors of the past, it hasn't worked. We repeat our errors and our wars..
