Walking into the home of Madam Lavigne, I gave her the food we had bought. I told her we would rest a little before dinner. I knew the time when dinner would be served. I woke at 6 in the morning. I finished showering and was getting dressed for our wedding when Colin woke up. “Get up, sleepyhead. We can’t be late this morning.” I watched as he slowly got out of bed, stretched, and headed for his morning kiss. “Will we have time for breakfast? I need a cup of coffee.” “Get your shower and dressed. I’ll finish packing.” At nine in the morning, we were standing at the entrance to City Hall. They did, Armand had all of the information. Evidently on his first trip to Europe, he had heard about marriage in Amsterdam. Tony, that would have been one of my short chapters if I had to explain all of that, which brings up an interesting point. It is my understanding that when I looked into it, all I was told I needed was proof of being single, passport and a sworn statement of understanding.

Thanks. I had to make a choice, short chapters (600-900) every day or longer chapters once a week. I chose short chapters around a theme

And filled with exciting people. We tend to be blessed by a country so vast that to travel to every corner would take a lifetime. Although that sounds exciting, imagine if our.country was comprised of different countries, each country speaking a different language, different customs, different foods, how mush richer we would be as an individual. When I was in Europe, people spoke more than one language. They shared customs without sacrificing their own language and customs.

We landed at Schipol and took a taxi to the Holiday Inn in the center of Amsterdam. We asked the concierge for directions to City Hall. As a 'Dutchman' you are aware that Holland was the first country that approved marriage between same sex couples. And Amsterdam is a nice place, I lived there for several years. But from my friends, they tell me somethings are changing
