"That was so amazing!" Jasper said as he flopped into a seat on the bridge of the ship that he and Tilbei now considered theirs. The half-Polkin smiled sweetly up at his Nubra. "It was beautiful how Zay and Pip swam together. And Zay learned his part so fast! I know he said he had lots of practice swimming and that they changed some of his motions to things he could do more easily. But still, it was like they were dancing in the water. And then when Pip turned into his little Sepida self and wav

The short trip back to Pipolphi's village was full of chatter. The Sepida felt torn in a dozen directions. He wanted to talk nonstop to Zane, full of questions he hadn't had the vocabulary to properly voice before. Just listening to his human speaking Sepida in that big, deep voice left Pip a dreamy lavender with streaks of joyful green. Pip was also distracted by Louie and his mate. Pipolphi trilled and chirped at how cute Louie and Lilly were, amazed at how quickly they'd bonded and how we

Pip thought he understood, but wanted to clarify. He spoke in Sepida, {"Does that mean I won't have to pay for upgrades anymore? And all the languages are included with the upgrade you're doing today?"} That was way too good a deal. Sepida selling their essence wasn't a common thing, but it was done. Was there really such a demand for it that it was worth so much? It made the concern about Sepida being kidnapped by unscrupulous aliens make a bit more horrible sense. Greed was pretty much a unive

When Galieth and Munklad neared the dome that Pipolphi lived in, the pink Sepida stopped in his tracks. He started walking back towards his cousin's dome. But, then he stopped and marched his way back towards Pip's dome. A quivering wave of fearful black rolled over his skin for a moment, causing him to rush back towards Mun's dome, only for him to stop and turn a mustard hue of embarrassment. Galieth felt his hearts thump in his chest before he turned around and walked more determined than

Still a solid brown hue of depression, Galieth pressed on. He was quite upset to know just how much that tall giant meant to Pipolphi. For some reason, he had believed that one day, he'd be able to be more honest with Pip and they would bond. What an idiot he was. The tiny Sepida rushed along faster than his cousin and their friends until he ducked into Munklad's private dome. Munk blew out a breath, gesturing to their other friends to go. Munklad would take care of Galieth like he always di

Excited to have returned home with a mate and a new friend, Pip was the first to dismount and rushed through the open hangar, burying his toes in the beach sand that began a few yards from where he had landed. The fine, white sand shimmered in the warm sunshine like a swath of crushed diamonds worn smooth by millennia of pounding surf. Pip closed his eyes and took a large breath of air, tears brimming in his eyes at the familiar feeling of being home. "Well, well, if it isn't Pipolphi ets De

Their steps were quick as Tilbei and Jasper strode through the throng outside the docking section holding the Hunnar ship. The very friendly Khassli greeter from the entrance had directed them there after Tilbei had inquired if the station worker had noticed a Sepida of slightly taller than normal height recently. The Khassli had sent them off with a gentle pat to the hat on Jasper's head that kept his ears held down in a way that wasn't too uncomfortable. The hybrid's lush tail was mostly hidde

Louie hadn't taken well to space travel, at first. Zane had cleaned up several messes, which Louie looked extremely embarrassed about, before the canine had adjusted to zipping through the dark. "One jump before, but that was insane. Driving like a bat outta hell," Pipolphi had told Zane, who was sitting on the floor with Louie overflowing his lap. "Three jumps safer." Pip checked their trajectory and the jump plans. Everything was set on the computer. Pip pushed back from the console an

Yes, I have a feeling that we're all going to have a total blast when we get to that point.

An English Setter padded along the stiff, partially wet sand in an almost regal manner as he approached the hooded Sepida on the beach. His fur was mostly white with brown spots that ran down the upper part of his body. The patterns nearly looked like freckles along his face when the Setter looked straight ahead. His left ear was completely brown, and his eyes were a golden brown that was a shade lighter than the brown on his fur. Louie was strong. He was a protector. Zane adopted Louie, the

A few days passed in a similar manner. Zane would show Pip around some of the places on the mainland. The Sepida said that the shops around the docks reminded him of something he called a "spaceport." The gymnast tried to ask him more details about it, but it was still quite difficult for Pip to figure out how to say what he wanted to say in English. There were no helpful translation guides like there would be for another Earthian language. Zane had bought more movies while they had been out and

The Sepida was frozen, staring at a tank that took up most of one wall. Two sharks circled within, cutting smoothly through the water. Their eyes were like large, shiny, black buttons. Teeth filled their mouths so much that some stuck forward. The sign below them announced they were short-finned mako sharks. "Baby hasserack!" Pip said, his voice shaking as much as his body. His gaze darted around the room. "Where mommy? Mommy eat you! Baby mean. Bite, bite, bite anything moves. Mommy…Mommy b

Zane grew increasingly nervous as he helped the Sepida into clothes for the first time. He didn't bother with any underwear. He opted for a pair of soft, drawstring shorts instead. They reached past the petite alien's knees to the point that they appeared like capris. His smallest tank top made up his shirt and the human felt as if he were dressing a child when he finally managed to get the hoodie on him. "There...this will make it easier to hide should anyone get too close of a glance," Zan

"He looked pretty into you. He didn't even try to make stupid excuses to Uncle Al, even though he was about to get punched out." "Yeah, after all that, though..." Amshel replied with a sigh. "I doubt he'd want anything more to do with me." "Hey, don't say that." Felix threw an arm around the taller teen. "Anybody'd be lucky to have you. If he doesn't, he's an idiot." "So...will you help me pick out clothes that at least make me attractive for tonight?" Amshel asked. "Hell yeah!"

Dear Jackoff the Second, I'm not ashamed to admit that I, like everyone else, had been waiting anxiously for our little troubles to be born [1]. I was also eager to name one of them, but the point would have been moot until they arrived [2]! When the day finally came and all was said and done, my concerns became a source of amusement to my Serahl [3]. The fact that I ended up "checking-out" for a moment towards the end...I don't think they'll ever let me live it down. Regardless, our beloved

After the urgency of Etsu wanting to see Caspin in the flesh, the group unanimously decided to dock their ship in an open area between Loxias and Orin's houses. The two Vulpan cousins were able to easily see each other on days that Etsu wasn't working at the company. Loxias and Sifta cared for Liam during the day time and visited the ship often. The tiny jaguar was fascinated by Nix's progress and the babies that moved inside him. Caring for him in turns gave the men good practice for when their

Chapter 24- A Solid Bond In the days that passed, Elder Pembroke incarcerated the librarian brothers and ran a thorough investigation on Mabry Wardell. In the following weeks, everything began to settle down around Pax and his mates. Pax and Mateo returned to work, requesting Fridays and Saturdays off for mate-bonding time. In their society, recently bonded mates were always accommodated before unmated werewolves. So, they even received a few more visits from Maribelle and Klaude after thei

Very, very true! In @Rambling Robin's and my opinion, it's hotter. But, I'm of the mind that anything with January in it is hotter. Farshael will definitely keep Viktor in line, to a degree.

Right, the next time those two go out in public, people will be gaping at the change in him and how such a tiny guy like Shael can get him to do things for him. The next chapter will be the last in this first arc. We're still currently writing it, so I can't say exactly when it will be posted. But, as soon as it's pieced together and edited, it will be up. I don't care if it's 20 pages long like old-school Kidnap chapters.

Chapter 23- Beauty and the Bat Farshael had adjusted to living with Viktor. The further he got in weaving his new Air Stole, the more powerful he became. He offered to watch over Viktor during the daytime when the slate-eyed vampire was asleep so that Gin could spend more time at home with his mate Essex. He had become close friends with the Made vampire. Despite his appearance, he knew Gin could be even older than himself, so he always treated the hazel-eyed vampire respectfully. Some

Chapter 22- The Elder Shindig January rubbed his temple as he awoke the following afternoon. His mates seemed to be adapting to his sleeping schedules, which was both endearing and concerning, considering Mateo and Pax's day jobs. Then again, the chaos of the days prior was enough to affect anyone's body. Perhaps they were simply tired. He took a moment to gaze at the group and finally stopped to realize how Ra had been looking out for them before they were reborn. Five hundred years w

Chapter 21- Together Nolan thought about it seriously. "I can't do it that way. He'd be underwater," the vampire muttered to himself. But Nolan longed to have Quinlan holding him from beneath as Nolan thrust into Quinlan, while Pax covered Nolan from behind and held him that way. The dark-haired vampire craved touch from his mates. When he didn't watch himself, Nolan would find himself pressed against his nearest mate like a hypothermic man seeking warmth. "We don't have to a

Chapter 20- Fury and Ire Pale yellow eyes flashed red briefly as Nephthys, the goddess of mourning and lamentation, lost her control of Khonsu's consciousness. "Blast," she hissed. "My son's slut keeps fighting my spell. I doubt it will hold for much longer." "Hmm, aren't you tired of playing with that moon god yet?" Apep asked, his deep voice conveying his boredom. There was little fun in watching his wife and her little vendetta anymore. It had grown tedious. Ending the game and movi

Chapter 19- A Moonlit Romp Thoth was out in the celestial garden that surrounded the home of his two fathers. His gray eyes were narrowed in concentration as he read a floating scroll that his dad, Horus, was holding up for him with effortless power. The scroll depicted a complicated spell that would ensure the balance of an entire ecosystem. But Thoth's concentration was quickly shot when he sensed the presence of one of his favorite people. "Dad, I'll be right back!" The young god ex
