I have sent you a message with the sheet music attached -- there is no recording, so that's the best I can do.

You can probably tell that I have anger issues. In fact, Refugium Quarterly, Vol. 1 Nos. 1 and 3 and Vol. 2 No. 2, are all issues dedicated to anger.

Thank you for reading! The Bible is such a strange body of mythology. The only person I trust to tell the real story behind it is Terry Pratchett.

My best recollection is that I wrote it in the early '80's (1980's, of course - I was writing in a very different style in the 1880's).

When Cain and Abel still were boys, they took their separate trades, And Abel took the shepherd's crook, while Cain took plows and spades, But fortune did not favor both the same; I know the lies they told about you, Cain. In Abel's fat and growing flock the hand of God was seen; All sadly shook their heads to see Cain's fields so poor and lean. But you were not yet angry, just the same; I know the lies they told about you, Cain. And Abel gre

At dawn, Loup was up and getting dressed for work. Vic opened his eyes and saw colors he was sure he had never seen before. Infrared? Ultraviolet? He opened his ears and heard Loup, traffic, birds singing, neighbors talking, small animals rustling outdoors, the hum of electric wires. He opened his nose and smelled Loup, sex, coffee, food, furniture, old books, car exhaust, trees, and the faint scent of flowers in the greenhouse. He opened the tips of his fingers and felt the individual threads o

By May Vic had stayed with Loup for three of his down times, which had settled back into a regular pattern - each full moon. These episodes began with Loup needing a lot of rest, but then progressed to a very active but still non-verbal phase, during which the two of them would go to a forested area and walk for miles. They had visited Vic’s Uncle Martin twice more together. Martin’s speech and thinking were clearer than usual when Loup was present, but he was obviously declining. Vic

Loup arrived early for the concert at First Circle Unitarian. To his surprise, Logan was already seated in a pew near the front. “Logan! I thought I would have the place to myself this early.” Logan put his book down, stood and hugged Loup. “I gave Brian a ride. His call time was an hour before the show, and I decided to hang around.” “So, you and Brian? What’s going on there?” “Oh, he’s still got a cast on his foot, so transportation is still awkward for him. I’ve been dropping b

I don't know if I should be appalled that this strikes you as a typical thanksgiving dinner or relieved that your typical thanksgiving is no worse. For so many, it's not Thanksgiving without at least one drunken knock-down drag-out fight, preferably with someone taking a shotgun to the TV!

Hey, at least there won't be any sharks! I'll send you a virtual pie on Thanksgiving.

Vic showed up a little early at Loup’s apartment on Thanksgiving. He found a note taped by the intercom: “VIC, I’M IN THE GREENHOUSE IN BACK –LOUP.” Vic walked around and entered the greenhouse, where Loup was cutting flowers. “Vic, hi. I wanted to bring your mother some heliotrope. Smell them.” Vic sniffed at the blossoms. “Wow. They smell great.” “Yeah, I grow them basically as medicine.” “You eat these?” “No, they’re poisonous. But when I get sick of the smell of the

"In archaic usage, the vapours (or vapors) is a mental, psychological, or physical state, such as hysteria, mania, clinical depression, bipolar disorder, lightheadedness, fainting, flush... in which a sufferer loses mental focus. Ascribed primarily to women and thought to be caused by internal emanations (vapours) from the womb, it was related to the concept of female hysteria." - Wikipedia Either that, or my corset is too tight.

Hey, don't underestimate Leslie Nielsen. Remember the effect he had on Debbie Reynolds in Tammy and the Bachelor. And he is the Swamp Fox!

Yes, so many possibilities. I'm picturing some possibilities right now, not that I would ever say them aloud.
